Enjoying your vids, thanks. Keep in mind that while trying to line up the machines you craft, you can be in your drone to place things down and you can have that top view to help lining things.
Good stuff. I started there as well since that is where you land but I am in the process of feeding everything there into warehouses because I found what I am calling the Trips Plus Base. 3+ Iron, 3+ Copper, 3+ Gold, 3+ Basalt, 3+ Osmium, 3+ Cobalt, 3+ Quartz. Even Graphene though not sure how many there are of that yet. I am pretty sure there are 3+ Sulfur as well. The only things I have not seen of the usual are Uranium and Phosphorus. And I know where those 2 are not terribly far away. I am going to have to go vertical because except for terraforming buildings and the Uranium and Phosphorus that might be the only base I have. I suppose there might be other resources I have not unlocked yet, but for the early game stuff, that location is great.
18:28 that is cool is there away to pull the stuff out with belts? would be a cool way to teleport craft items when the item needs more then 1 type of ore lol.
@@surtrplays I did not explain that very well. Let's say I am mining copper ore and directly putting it into a warehouse with a conveyor belt.. is there a way I can then pull it out of that warehouse with a belt and run it into a smelter automatically? Or do I have to manually remove the ore and put it where I want it to go.
Great video, my game is downloading right now. that is a good trick with the building compartments, Level ground is hard to find. I have a real hard time with conveyor belts when I try to stop it, then try to get it going again.
I have noticed with the belts if you click right away to build next section it doesn’t “connect”. Wait for first section to be built then wiggle mouse and it highlights old section blue then it connects the new section to it. Not highlighted it isn’t joined together and will stop flow. Take that extra few seconds and it works.
@@surtrplays I meant equipping more then one will stack there effect. But yes there are upgraded versions and possibly even more items for those slots later on.
i bought this game and make some warehouses....moved them and logged off...when i rejoined the old ones was back BUT i couldnt use them or remove them and could walk in them and could not build over the ghosts....any ideas how to fix this?
@@surtrplays yea it is a bug a few people has had it. even back in july lol. it seems to happen when you build and delete alot of them to flatten land. lets hope it gets fixed lol.

You can use your drone to get something like a top-down view to properly align your buildings. Very handy.

Definitely. I like that you can decentralize factories, set them up and then forget about them. They just keep giving you product.

Nice. I found a great spot to the north east that has a lot of resources. Should get there soon.

If items are in your warehouses, you can craft with them.

Thanks and yeah, the conveyors are tricky.

Take that extra few seconds and it works.
Also you can turn them. I build short sections and use scroll wheel around any corners to manipulate the belt.

It’s possible to have more then 1 oxygen tank and/or 1 battery module for your suit.
Yes, there are 3 slots and you can put whatever you want in them. There are better oxygen tanks and batteries later.

I think you need to look at the tasks menu. It doesn't give much information.

I haven't had that issue but it sounds like a bug. Maybe something to do with an update.

There are 3 slots for o2 and power. You can't have more than one item per slot.
