These kind of games ( satisfactory, planet crafter, Eden crafters …) are what I called Time Machine survival games, you start playing the game around 7Pm then 5 minutes later you realized it now 7Am … Ps I use conveyors as a mean to “fast travel” to or away from ( in this case heat). I’ll admit it can be a bit of a hassle to setup but being able to run faster and get to destination faster is a bonus.
@surtrplays well, there are a few things to help about that, and I even got good surprised by few "features" (dont worry, i won't give spoilers) but one issue I found was a particular large deposit I couldn't find a way to place a automated drill on it due to either Collison box size or bug hopefully you won't run into that issue. Will update as soon as you get to that point.
Build the Analyzer, it gives you many new things. also the area to the North east where you see the Large Gold node, go check the area there it has every thing you need to get going. Lots of Iron, Copper,Sulfur,Gold Graphite And a lot of it in a small area.
my strat is to find an an area with all the nodes and normally access to water and build everything and then warehouse it so by now most things are automated. Also when travelling around the map put a radar down and it will show new nodes. Also in the hot zone you eventually unlock a thermal power station which is quite awsome along with a way to get around that zone safely
Sorry im a bit behind on your videos, and you may have already found this out yourself, but i discovered if your bringing a conveyor down the mountain, and you keep it very low to the ground when placing it, it will actually tunnel its way through the mountain
There is a reinforced building for putting in the hot zone. You may have unlocked it, but you didnt check your build menu. There is also a cobalt deposit down the coast in the hot zone, I went at night, build a couple of pods on the way and it works fine. You definitely need a battery or two for you solar power
I found a great area down the coast. Will be there for the next episode. I'm not sure about how I would use the reinforced building. I could put it in a hot zone but then am I stuck in there for the whole day?
The gold despoit that is around the cost the narrow entry to the hot zone is easily accessible along with tons of other resources. I built a lot of stuff there
Nice looking game! The pipes and conveyors are a bit wonky, but I may not know how to place them properly. This game certainly "advances" quite quickly!
Can you put ores or basic ingots/rods/plates in a warehouse and convey them out of another warehouse? Then you could use multiple warehouses around the map to teleport resources to a central industrial area.
The planet is huge, best to make some vehicle batteries (and spares) and use the ship for travelling. The hot area are not too bad you just take damage which can be healed with food so not much of a worry once you can make infinite food.
keep in mind that belt/pipe placement is dependent on where you're standing/looking. with that in mind you can place them in such a way that they aren't so bendy. it's kind of a pain, and I hope they tweak it so its not so weird.
Before I fully watch your video, build a material analyzer, collect # of sulfur and click analyze, batteries was opened, various material open up different items.
Actually yea some area may damage or destroy ur buildings Like one time i tried to build a vehicle hanger in the coldest area in the bottom left of the world and it got destroyed😢
2:30 maybe you should do the tutorial first and make the tree green house lol. i think i told you this but if you hit J or go to task in the menu you can learn alot of what to do and the mile stones you need to hit to make your stuff better (i think i told you this before you made this episode) but i been talking to ALOT of people online about this game so who knows lol.

Its nuts how time disappears. Hopefully soon I will not have to worry about the hot areas.

Aint that the truth

I found it, thanks. Will be using it.

That's a good strategy.
I like how this game has different environmental challenges and the production is targeted at terraformation - it's a neat, purposeful loop.
It is quite good. I'm really just trying to see what is available in this version. I might be a bit neater in my next run.

Thanks. That is actually a very cool feature.
This game seems to be a combination of planet crafter and satisfactory. Interesting.
It is a bit. Pretty cool game and lots of new stuff now.

I went to have a lot. Oh yeah. I'm going to be doing stuff there.
27:57 - what i also like about this particular area is that your o2 numbers aren't dropping.
Absolutely.
Nice looking game! The pipes and conveyors are a bit wonky, but I may not know how to place them properly.

There are ways to make the pipes and conveyors look good. I'm not too concerned about that in this playthrough.

Unfortunately there is no output on the warehouse.

so in a recent update if you daisy chain your power as in the areas overlap it becomes one network which is a god send
I saw that. Will be doing it soon.
Research sulfur to unlock power grid batteries.
I am getting there.

i find i just use alt to make them in a line when i can lol
you'll also notice that when you're in the green area after your area fertilizer has been placed. you have unlimited oxygen in the area
@richard2mitchell yeah meant to include that tip. But once I figured out they were placed depending on your orientation, it was very helpful too
Excellent, thanks.
so new mechanics for getting certain items (Battery is one of them)
So much new stuff.
Before I fully watch your video, build a material analyzer, collect # of sulfur and click analyze, batteries was opened, various material open up different items.
Thanks. I will get there soon.
woo
Lets goooo
Thanks for watching.

Thanks for letting me know.

Many thanks.
Lesss goooo!!! Let's change the planet because I dont like earth anymore😂
Agreed.
Upload more videos please
I will try.
you can cut down trees :)
Thanks. I will need to figure that one out.
