I can’t believe Nathan had no idea that Bruce Willis got his start on TV! Moonlighting was what put him on then map and paved the way for his breakout role in Die Hard. If you watch Moonlighting you can see how he was a good fit for the John McClain character in Die Hard.
I loved this video. The juxtaposition of Sid and Ann's views was great. I could listen to Sid all day. It was also especially interesting to see Ann's choices and comments. She is obviously not a watch person but had great insight and thoughts as a designer. A unique perspective. Nathan ties it together well. Another great video.
Glad to see my Milgauss Black GV getting some much deserved love and enthusiastic discussion. It is truly unique and the green crystal shows up better against the black.
I'm in No Way a Rolex Fanboy, nor "speculator" lol (let's tell the truth.) But, I must say. I wholeheartedly agree with the consensus. I love the Mil-Gauss.
There are two great moments here in the video where Sid asks Nathan about his Datejust. After watching all these videos produced over the last 18mo or so, and seeing his DJ (even with it loosely being the topic of conversation eg the DJ vs Apple Watch comparison), I really would love hear the origin story of how he got that watch and why. Any interest in doing a quick hit on this? (or if it exists already and I missed it could someone point me in the right direction?) Recently I was fortunate enough to purchase a new 126200 - basically the newer version of the exact same watch - and I'm interested in hearing his side of the story as compared to mine. :)
That’s like saying your chocolate cake with ice cream on the side was not healthy enough. This is RUclips… It’s all fluff… That’s why we watch it. Not sure what you were expecting. I thought it was an engaging and entertaining 15 minutes. Well done video.
I love this episode; however, I do have an issue with something said. It was said that the Milgauss couldn't have a date cause of the gauss rating and being around magnetics. Thing is, Omegas have dates on their watches that are good to 15000 gauss. And I believe most of Rolex now have at least a 1K gauss rating with their watches many of which also have dates, so it was a curious comment to make.
I think it was funny Sid mentioning the BMW. I’m on the hunt for a 635csi now. I had the privilege of listening and meeting him at the Catalyst Conference some years ago in Atlanta. As an entrepreneur myself, I found him very inspiring. Definitely one of the highlights of that years conference for me. This is a great series.
My God, how cool was this episode?! LOVED the reference to the BMW 6-Series in "Moonlighting". I'm old enough to have watched that in its first run series life, and it was a fun show that put the 6-series on my radar. Very fun.
The Mashburns are an amazing, down -to- earth couple. By far, this was the best series to see. Everyone was relaxed and enjoying one another’s company.👏👏👏
Sid needs to throw down and buy Ann the Cartier. That would be a Pro Move! ;)
I was just thinking this. The way she was talking about it and handling it.
100%
What an utterly charming couple! I wish they were friends of mine as I’m sure they host epic dinner parties.
Was thinking the same thing.
What a great episode and what a lovely couple. I am very much looking forward to the next segment with them.
2:59 “I don’t *need* to tell the time but I *want* to tell the time.”
Love that line.
Really fun to hear someone talk about watches that is not the typical "watch person". Provides a different view and connection to their watch.
@@mannycalavera2335 Agreed.
moonlighting was such a great show. I love these two so much.

Yeah, this video was a home run.
Threading the Milgauss together with David Bowie was brilliant!
Few things disgust me more than when a watch _idiot_ savant shoehorns in Rolex in a discussion where it doesn’t belong.

Bruce Willis was on TV? 😄
Great episode! Now I am waiting for the others
This video makes me want a Milgauss.
I've been on a wait list for the Z-Blue Milgauss for months...still waiting....still waiting...

MASHBURNS ARE LEGENDS
Great video. A refreshing & much needed twist to a familiar series..

YAY! Nathan is back! I was worried you left us. Mark is awesome too. Keep up the good work!
Wearing my white dial milgauss today. One of my favorite pieces.
Fantastic video featuring such a wonderful, articulate couple! Please do more of these!!
eagerly waiting for part 2 and 3
Wonderful video! So fresh!
Too much fluff and not enough content.

I like the Milgauss, so playful, the lighting second hand and green sapphiere
I love the way they speak and articulate themselves.
I want to have drinks with Sid! Such a cool fella.
The Mashburn's are so cool...so much fun.
Milguass will likely be my first Rolex. Sporty, unique, and affordable (for luxury watches).
I got an Air King. Loved the dial and case of Milgaus but hated the polished bracelet. That old Milgaus is awesome though.
Get it sooner rather than later. Milguass prices are rising and rising.
If I ever get the call it will be my first and last Rolex.
I love these 3 watch collection videos, and this has been my favourite yet!
Great vid. Love it.
A varitable omniumgatherum of pretentious twaddle
I did like that vintage milgauss though

The light makes SId's trousers not match his jacket
By FAR the best 3 watch collection episode (or trilogy of episodes), knocked it out of the park here!
That Cartier guilloche pattern is so cool
