Honey bee season is not over in eastern NC.

Golden rod is coming in and honey bee season is not over yet. Don't neglect checking your hives for space. I am seeing a lot of laid and hatched drones in the hives so if they start to back fill on your queen because of lack of space they may try to blame her and supercede her or swarm. You can always bust them back after the flow and you can get extra drawn frames to give you a jump on the spring flow next year.
