Holy moly! _Classic Industries_ is going to love you! They have a lot of items that will help you with the 65's sheet metal woes. I wonder if this beast spent time on the coast or in northern US where they salt the roads in winter? Do you have a history on it yet?
Hey RLT! No history buddy sorry other than it's a 273 🙃 Classic Industries would love me if I had the money 🤣🤣 I think being a New Hampshire car the weather isn't too good sometimes, but I think she's been sat in a yard in the grass where she's got wet, dried out, got wet, dried out... and the beat goes on....!
Actually, that floor is pretty typical for a New England B-body - maybe the PO meant “the floors have no rot” because fiberglass doesn’t rot…. Looking forward to watching the fabrication!
I am building a 64 Polara, The torsion bar crossmember on mine was pretty clean. I installed the full floor from AMD, - they have the floors in stock now. Shipping might be an issue.
The Coronet is in good hands now, but wow, that floorboard! Made so much worse by "fixing it". I can't believe anyone would just tie the seat belts to the seat when the anchors for the belts should already be there.
Wow! Glad it wasn’t as bad as you thought dude, good luck with the refab. 🤠
Cheers Dude! It's getting there 😁
Great videos George. Would love to see more ✅
Keep watching Marc, there's plenty more to come 👍
@@SortedGeorgeGarage be careful with the mouse droppings. You can get a bad virus from that stuff. Wear a mask when you're cleaning that crap up 😉

Thanks Rick! You're right.... fiberglass doesn't rot 🤣 ...but everything else has though 😆
Comes to something when the carpet is stronger than the car
🤣🤣 Yeah tell me about it!!! 🤣🤣
Pull the dash and front fenders. Fix the upper and lower cowl. Drain holes get clogged and leaks into the floor pan. Wiper shaft seals also bad.
I'll have a look, thanks 👍

Yeah unfortunately shipping would be a problem for a full floor pan.. probably would cost as much as the car 🤣🤣🤣

Thankyou Patrick, I'll certainly do my best for the old girl! I must admit the seat belt bit made me chuckle.... they literally just disappeared 🤣
It is what it is……….
Yeah I guess so...
