I remember seeing this movie like 5+ years ago, and seeing the scene at the party where everyone gets absolutely destroyed, and thinking "I cannot WAIT until it got kill counted", when I saw the collector kill count last week, I was SO EXCITED for this, it's a mini-dream crossed off my bucket list.
For those who don't know "the button man Lynn who caught the Harlem sunset from the man with the pearlescent peepers" just means that Lynn was a cop who was murdered by the collector buttons or button men were police and a Harlem sunset is just death yep Lynn did find himself behind the 8 ball on that one
The ending to this movie is awesome. We even get to hear The Collector’s first ever words ever since he never talked in the first movie and throughout this movie.
Another banger episode from Zoran. While this movie's not quite as good as _The Collector,_ it's it's just as gory, with just as great a performance from Arkin. And you can definitely see the budget increase. Overall, a decent follow up, and an occasional guilty pleasure of mine.
My biggest peeve about this fantastical movie comes at 23:49 when she breaks open the likely preservative filled glass container and doesn't cause a chemical fireball that levels the building. That's gotta be a WHOLE LOT of formaldehyde.
Can we all collectively vote to add Arkin to the list of top-tier horror protags? The dude ranks alongside Sidney Prescott and Nancy Thompson as far as whooping killers are concerned.
