We're doing the Red Rocks 82 run!! Ill always regret not making the trek to Morrison at least once. Red Rocks must have been incredible at night while dosed. 🌈😵💫💨
Thank you again ..dare I mention this is one of their throwaway concerts , that happened occasionally..ha ha . But still great , as if one were to take an example of a concert experience today ...et all 😂😢😮😅❤ ..thank you ..😊
@@fleetingverse4135 yeah I get it ..good ... happy you liked it ..I do as well ... after all it is good for what it's worth... happy you are liking it ...
Thanks for all you do for us Elaine! I waw Phish play Somewhere Over The Rainbow at Red Rocks. Tripping lost my car keys found em after hours of looking. Car towed off lot. 😅 then ran out of gas in town (Morrison) pushed that Beetle away from the encroaching line of monted 🐎 🐴 Colorado State Police. 😂 Edit: maybe we just didn't have enough time to start it. Sometimes need 3 people to start VW. One on driver seat, one at engine, one underneath sticking a screwdriver inside to make a spark ⚡️
I have Jim Wise’s mouth of the board recordings from these nights. They seem less affected by the rain generated issues. In general I prefer a good audience over sbds at this venue. Maybe because it makes the memories more alive. (plus the other taper yelling at Wise about changing his levels before Shakedown is classic taper lore!) It rained during the first set, but it POURED during the second. I’m not sure how they played though it. The stage wasn’t that well covered, so the roadies were constantly squeegeeing the stage. It finally let up by Drums. In Let It Grow, while Bob’s vocal crecendo hit the final “I am” a bolt of lightning lit the sky behind him. The amazed audience wowed at the effect. We taped the show, and the crowd swell is audible on my tape,(and Wise’s). The D5 didn’t survive the weekend because of the rain, and had to be serviced once we got back home. Oh yeah, the green pyramid gels were dynamite
"Got it from the top, it's nothing you can stop.... Lord ya know they made a fire connection.."
well you get what you come for, you ready to go?
it's one in ten thousand that come for the show!
Great, long & flowing He's Gone
agreed!
Today is my 64th Birthday! Thanks for the 22nd Birthday show...🎉💜💜💜
Happy Birthday, The Beatles club. Now you have your own song
When I first heard when I'm 64 I thought I was never going to live till 20.. nearly died a few times before I made it past 20...
Actually there's a few Dead Songs that I swear are describing parts of my life... That Hunter somehow found out about & put them in a lyric
@@Shivaho a very happy new year. Full of music, peace and health! 🎶💜☮️⚡🥳🎈🎂
Enjoy your day!!!

And now 💨💨💨 is completely legal in Colorado 😁
I saw Papa John play Somewhere Over The Rainbow in the Golden Gate Park Bandshell with Airplane parts, early 90s.

Shake it down. Unique 1st set: Jerry, Bobby > Bobby, Jerry, Bobby > Bobby, Jerry, Bobby > Bobby, Jerry. What's with that?
And then there's Brent, this show is a lot about him. It's really shining
@@eletricnaneland352 He's so turned up in the mix, who could miss him? And yes, he shines. The night before, too.
and a huge Stephen tease leading into NFA
