Yes! The crazy thing is that I wanted to find this kind of stereotypical (old?) surfer music for a while. I just did not know where to look for or what to search for. Amazing! It's awesome, in German (I'm Austrian) we would call something like that "balm for the soul"

This reminds me of a long time ago when I heard this guitarist and a mariachi band play a couple surf songs together of all things. The guitarist took the lead on singing and he had a very 60s alt rock style of singing to him. You did excellently on this and it reminds me of that random jam session in a Mexican restaurant I stumbled across.
‘Platitudes’ perfectly describes where I was 4 years ago; Getting out of a toxic friend group, turning off that microphone and moving on from a whole load of bullshit. Definitely my favorite song off this album

the first songs are closer to 60s surf, early to mid 60s style (for example, Dick Dale released Misirlou in 1963, the first songs are totally within that genre/style), but then later in this album some songs do start to sound more 70s ish...

Not to say this person has a bad voice, but it's not a topic since there's no singing. Until you get to the 3rd song and realize there is singing. And that the voice isn't horrible so you're super stoked cause now you can jam on! 🦎🐍
