I love watching your channel so down home good and freshness like how I was raised. My grandma baked like this and fresh home made bread and pastries we made on Saturdays and it was so much fun. We made home made donuts too. When my grandpa died and her son sold the house. Then when grandma died the people that brought her house that were cousins. The room behind the kitchen the closet when they opened it it smelled like grandma was backing. Oh the memories their at their country home. My grandpa stored fruit through the winter in wood boxes filled with sand. The fruit lasted all winter spring and even till they were ready to pick fresh from the fruit trees they planted. a lot of people only use the bulb of the fennel but you can add those stalks too, it's like using celery (you just cook them a little longer). I tried it and it was good 🙂

It’s always good to find recipes containing cabbage and in this case the wonderfully flavoured fennel with fresh herbs and homemade croutons I think I’ll try it, much thanks!
What a nice combination of vegetables for a soup - never thought of cabbage, fennel and potatoes - with cold weather coming this soup will be amazing - wish we could get Oat Cream here in Canada - I use Oat milk everyday since I cannot drink regular milk - you make everything look so amazing - love your channel - do you think I could freeze this soup? - Cheers Canada 🍁
I find that soups do not freeze well due to their high water content, my attempts have been very poor. Rather try this: as soon as the soup is ready, bottle it, seal well and let it cool to room temperature. Then put it in the fridge and you can keep it for 3 weeks. When you open it, it is as if it had just been prepared, a treat! It's called a semi-canning (which is why cold is necessary). Have fun!

C'est de la levure nutritionnelle. Elle est utilisée pour épaissir les soupes. C'est une levure très saine. Elle contient beaucoup de vitamines. Ce n'est pas la levure qui est utilisée pour cuire et faire lever la pâte.
Il y a des ingrédients que je ne connais pas parce qu'on les trouve pas dans région comme le sirop d'agave ou la crème d'avoine.. mais bon on peut toujours les remplacer..Merci.
