    My partner has genital herpes, she’s had an outbreak once about 3 years ago . ¿Would it be considered "safe" to receive oral sex from her?
    I tested negative and she apparently has antibodies which means she has the virus but it’s dormant.¿correct?
    Probably not the first to ask this question, sorry about that.
    New sub here.

      Whatever you decide is good. :)
      It's never a complete guarantee you will not get it, but a person without outbreaks is less likely to shed the virus, and even if they do, it's for shorter periods. So, at the end, you should know there is always a chance, but it's up to you how you want to proceed. Some people want more protection, some don't care at all.

      Both modern medicine and allopathy have no remedy.Research is still being conducted. Using Ayurvedic medications, I recovered from HSV 1 and HSV 2 in two months. On the open market, ayurvedic medications can be bought by anyone seeking a comprehensive cure. The complete list of ingredients is provided by an Indian Ayurvedic doctor. It is the home of the Panaceayur Multi-Speciality Ayurvedic Hospital. Please visit the hospital or watch their movie on RUclips for further details.

    HSV 1 is common but should still be considered as STD right? If let says the patient wanted to get married or have a partner, we still need to explain to the patient that there's risk of transmission to your partner or even babies?

      You should always disclose, yes. It's the right thing to do.
      Different people classify herpes differently. Skin disease, STD, etc. Call it whatever you want, it can be transmitted to someone genitals, even if you 'only have it orally'. A lot of kids get herpes, and when they become adults, these kids can transmit their oral herpes to their partners, genitally.

    Question I recently met someone ( woman) who has HSV2. She is not shedding & gave me oral sex. I really like her and want to continue to keep dating her but I am scared I’m not going to lie. What’s the percentage I can catch it if she has Hsv2 which isn’t oral & she isn’t shedding. She also mentioned something about if she’s sick or has a weak immune system that could be bad. What do u think ?😊

      If she only has genital herpes, then you cannot get it with oral s`x. You can only get it if you come in direct contact with it. Yes, many people get outbreaks when they're sick/their immune system is down, so it's best to avoid contact at those times.

      If she has genital herpes, then you couldn't have gotten it by kissing

    What is the percentage of people who have HSV2 on the oral region? Can someone who has HSV2 orally pass it to someone’s genitals during oral sex giving the receiver HSV2 on the genitals?

    • @lifewithherpes
      @lifewithherpes  Месяц назад

      The % is very low. But you can still pass it. It's always skin to skin contact, so wherever you have it and come in contact with it, you can get it

      @@lifewithherpesIf a person had a blood test for HSV 1 and tested positive, can they catch genital herpes (HSV 1) from a infected partner through sexual intercourse? The blood test doesn’t tell you if it is oral herpes or genital herpes. Also, can a person have HSV 1 and HSV 2 genitally?

    • @lifewithherpes
      @lifewithherpes  24 дня назад +1

      Unlikely they will catch it in two places. Once you have the antibodies, your body will learn to recognize the virus and attack it with antibodies it has produces before.
      Yes, you can have both types in one location.
