This has been so helpful. I’ve had herpes for 20 yrs. I stayed in a really bad toxic marriage for 14 yrs bc of it. After I got divorced I dated a guy who didn’t mind, and then we broke up, and I was engaged to a guy and was with him for 5 yrs. But we just recently split. Now I’m back out there dating again, and I’ve had one rejection so far. I’ve been asked out multiple times but I say no for fear of rejection. I did finally say yes to someone and now I’m getting anxious about telling him. You were diagnosed the same year as I was. I felt like it was the end of the world. I got diagnosed with both. Doctor stated it was likely dormant in my system for years without me knowing as my partner was negative for it. I’ve been living with it for 13 years now and I still cry about it.

It's transmitted skin to skin. You cannot spread your genital herpes to your kids.

You get outbreak every 6 week? How can lysine & monolaurin be effevtive if you're so prone?
Not saying it works. But. I’ve been experimenting with AHCC and haven’t had an outbreak since. I’ve heard mixed reviews on it but it seems to be doing fine along with L-lysine and monolaurin.
I cant quit breaking out I quit taking antibiotics because my amune system is so low I've been using peroxide and tea tree I can't get them to go away😢
A doctor on yt recommended using 1000mg of Lysine and using pure coconut oil at the tingle. I've also heard to avoid peanuts, soy, chocolate and corn

There are no studies, so usually doctors do not suggest it. You will still get lysine in your foods.

What about the amino L-Arginine? Does this counteract the L-Lysine?
Arginine is the opposite of lysine, and it actually fuels the herpes virus. Some people do notice it causes them outbreaks.
