Hello dr can you explain HSV DNA PCR test pls
Is this a blood test too? I got this too and experts say this is not accurate and reliable. only when there is viremia, or the patient is immunocompromised.

10 weeks after exposure, my HSV 1 and 2 Igg was 1.25 and 0.25 respectively. The Positve range is >25. I feel burning sensations in my anus and lips but no blisters appeared for 10 weeks. Should I retest Igg after 3,4 and 6 months?
Hi everyone! I hope someone can help with my situation, I desperately looking for some type of guidance.
For the last 4 moths i been tested 6 different time blood, igg mig , swap and a biopsy for my blisters on my pubic area.
I been in a dermatologist, and two other doctors and including ER and all of them when they see me they all said is HSV2 but when the tests come back are negative and they all they i need more time for my body to create antivirus for the test to detect it.
Should i still be worried and assume all my tests are false negative?
Please help!!!
