    Listened to 5 different recording of this on RUclips. This one is BY FAR the most accurate and tasteful to Haydn.

    How can advertisers be so dull as to imagine that anyone listening to such music is going to take any notice of their 'product'?! Elegant playing!

    loove the tune, though i'm not very much familiar with the terminologies in music. i find it soothing, calm and emotionally driving.

      @M_SC 5 месяцев назад

      @@TheAsianTreeI doubt they meant that at all. They said “the tune”; I believe the comment about not knowing the right terminology starts with that word.
      You used great words, RUclips commenter, I hope they correlate with what you actually were meaning. They seemed to. I think you are a smart person for realizing that non classical musicians tend to say really dumb things when they just want to express appreciation of a classical piece sometimes. And also there certainly are a bunch of snobs.

    1:53-2:50 I don’t get why everyone hates on Vivaldi. This passage literally sounds like the sequences Vivaldi wrote in his 1720-26 period.

    • @arazaratsyan6478

      It is, because the key of the piece is determined by what's written. Regardless of how it's played, the piece will be in c because Haydn wrote it in c. If what you hear is not the pitch you'd expect to hear for c, then the possible logical conclusions you can make would be "this has been transposed" or "this is in another tuning". In this case, it's in a lower tuning. However, concluding that the piece is not in c when a presumably correct score that has it written in c is right in front of you wouldn't make sense.

    • @gabrielfigueroa8131
      @gabrielfigueroa8131 3 года назад +1

      @@arazaratsyan6478 Although it was written in the classical period, this is clearly played in a baroque style. There's an excess of ornamentation, a harpsichord, and instruments are tuned down a semitone from the pitches used today. In baroque times, it was common to tune to a 415hz A. It's not that it isn't in C Major, but rather a different C Major.
