If every CP units had been a relentless high efficient killer like this one, the whole rebellion would have been put down in hours.
but most CPs are just citizens who joined the combine for better living conditions, they dont have any advanced tactics like Overwatch Soldiers

Of course there SHOULD be a story of a combine unit what were u expecting, and i should say that ure not more stronger than a random civil protection team unit in e:z or maybe even less stronger. So it doesnt matter how clever this civil protection team unit is.
Well as player in hard mode you technically die a lot of times
And I’d say hard mode is the most realistic difficulty there is in this mod and half life in general because guns actually DO hurt

Well, it made some sense... until the rebels decided to knock you out, drag all the bodies and you all that way, and then drop you into some random ditch without shooting you first.
They must be some ex-HECU guys to make that mistake twice...
@Grease Not just regular zoombies but the first ones you encounter are some of the hardest zombies in the universe to kill
They most likely felt like giving the metro cops more suffering than just a clean death and what else is better with current resources than letting them get eaten by zombies slowly?
At first, they shot him and dropped down there so that headcrabs couldn't latch on him. And his equipment is contagious while rebels could have been vaccinated long before.
At second, HECU knocked Freeman out because they were taking him alive while they could, and presumably shot him again, as seen in the Half-Life Decay cutscene, to drop and dismember the body so that it wouldn't be possible to identify Freeman. I don't think they were executing the order properly and took Freeman's doing personal.

But not stronger than a random civil protection team unit so it makes u feel like that ure a real civil protection team unit that will get one hit from gordon freeman and then die, also this mod includes really much things, this is why i think the best hl2 mod is entropy zero and entropy zero 2
@@zombine7103 Both of them will always be canon in my book. Whenever I go on a half life binge I make it a priority to play Entropy Zero as part of it.

The rebel ragdoll physics are much more satisfying then the combine ones. The combines just implode in a very unrealistic way.
Mostly the synthetics implode due to some internals and gasses. The OTA and CPs have decent ragdoll.
ragdolls were broken with steampipe. Now they're fixed with the beta branch

honestly entropy zero falls off SO HARD at the last 2 chapters, there were no clues on where to go, the vortigaunt boss is hella random and you literally HAVE to replay it atleast 2 or 3 times unless you watch a walkthrough before playing. The boss is not that bad until the very end where you have to fight that 1000 hp vortigaunt while dying, you mostly just die to the snow instead of the actual boss

It wasn't scary, big problem of rythm and intensity in this part, just waiting for stalker to open doors while nothing happens in the dark

That soundtrack, however. There are references to Penumbra on many occasions, such as the soundtrack here in E:Z1 which is quite reminiscent of Mikko Tarmia's soundtrack in the Penumbra series, and the flares which also play a big role in the games. Apparently, there is also location in the sequel which is named "Lake Tuurngait". Tuurngait are the antagonist of Penumbra. Very cool.
Amazing mod with an exception story, however some of the puzzles were downright cheating you and the last boss battle made zero sense

Oh cool, 1 week playing this game only reaching the metrocop in the cage part, leaving because the girl in the radio terrified me, and then having my progress deleted for some reason, and some guy does it in under 1 hour.

I think this is the best hl2 mood I have ever played.
The trainride part was awsome. I loved it... great middle relaxing. I was afraid the train is gonna crash at some point but was so happy that it didn't. Didn't like dark so much though
There's an MMod add-on for this as well as Kill The Monk and Prospekt. The one for this crashes whenever dialogue comes. If anyone can find a working Entropy Zero MMod add-on, that would be great.
Edit: The one for EZ works, but cc_subtitles must be set to 1. Otherwise, it crashes.

there is this radio with a girls voice looking for a doll
idk if its an easter egg of Nazi Zombies or what..
My daughter who was four at the time, wanted a part in the game (because she would occasionally watch me build it). So she came up with the idea to find a doll. It needed something else though, so I made it extra spooky and got her to do some lines for me. Worked out quite well for a hidden / thing, and actually plays into Bad Cop's state of mind. You'll probably find out more about that in EZ2.

@@coltonmullis8880 Yeah, it’s basically just a big bullet sponge. I’d say the final boss is probably the lowest part of the game. It’s very unfair with the amount of things you have to focus on while trying to stay alive (the lasers, vortigaunts). The “boss” just takes numerous hits to kill and are very fast with their attacks. Playing on hard is just torture from how much damage they do, and it doesn’t help that you can’t touch the ground or you’ll die in like 2 seconds. You’re best bet is to just cheese it by getting the guy stuck, shooting him a bit, then backing up before he finishes his attack.

You have you have subtitles on to understand what the advisor is talking about. But the advisor mentions Gordon freeman, and basically making copies of your brain to act as a template for future soldiers

its actually one of the better and smoother parts of the mod. you just send one/several manhacks (the drones) and the zombies focus on them for the entire mission. surprising how so many people got stuck there even though the rest of the mod has much more confusing parts

The end fight is god awful. I quit cuz he kept eating all my shots and I running out of the health. Ran through it for about 2 hours before I gave up. Would have been so great if he didn't have extreme health and one shot capabilities across the map and can just press you no matter where you go and have no consequences when you feed him double shells and all the rest of the ammo you have to the mouth over and over. Maybe I'll beat the game when I have an entire week to spare and saved every single last bit of ammo the game ever gave me
Overall, the mod is amazing, but that the final end boss is infuriatingly difficult. Honestly, after trying for an hour or so, I resorted to turning godmode on just to beat him.

The last fight is just so bad... it doesn't make any sense, and it's just so tedious for no reason. Why do I have to recharge my health every 5 seconds? Why am I having to jump over lasers? Why is it so hard to attack the cores forcing me to refill ammo if I miss? It's just bad game design. Not to mention the entire arena is just pure BLUE. The last enemy is just a bullet sponge. The effects on the Vortigaunts make it look like they don't take damage. It's just bad.

from what i understand, he is a metrocop fighting for survival, killed a vorti leader, then got...put into an experiment? why? i dont get the ending
basically the combine advisor copied his conciousnes and made him an elite, and then burned his original body because it was fucked up because of the core explosion.

This mod is so confusing it's just not fun.
To explain the whole gameplay, we are a CP unit stationed in a Combine occupied city far from City 17. At the end of the game, the Advisors decide to clone us into soldiers since we did such a good job fighting against rebels throughout the game
i got like 3 fps and so i couldn't look up couldn't get though
