I see in this version of the Half-Life Timeline, the Combine and Resistance are a unified force, characters that were once enemies now colleges or even friends. Fighting along side Combine Soldiers feels so good.

@@robloxHollcopter this is a separate mod from the Half Life canon. The dude who made it also created Pieces like Us and Sweet Half Life.
The Manhacks still attack you for some reason.
You might like Entropy Zero, a game set from the perspective of a combine soldier, taking place around 7 months before HL2.
@In K I think they weren't transparent Combine Soldiers, they were probably those "Pythagoras Soldiers" but with their AI
this is the best and most adorable half life mod I've ever seen.
the combine and the non combine are working together so sweetly, with all their guns pointed at something other than each other, the combine robots and synths act so lifelike, like how the city scanner looks at the door, then goes to the strider like it's saying "hey! there's a locked door down there and Gordon freeman can't get through! can you shoot it for him?" and the actual bad guys look so weird, it's awesome!
This mod has such an unique style of mystery and eerieness... specially when the guy teleports and shows up in a huge field with strange buildings... thank you for the video, glad to see this mod aint forgotten yet :)

Really cool how the combine and resistance are putting their differences aside and working together. They should of done it earlier

They weren’t bad guys or good guys xD there’s no such thing, it all revolves around your morality and what you think is right, all ‘bad guys’ are just people with different views than us. It seems extreme to us, but it’s not to them.

That’s all I’m saying you could say good is measured on how many people agree on each ideology. But that would require some kind of system to figure out who believed what and it could easily become corrupted overtime
I believe that they’re no good or bad guys and also while I’m here I hate thanos in endgame but kinda agreed with him in infinity war showing that not everyone saw him as bad. Not to suppress the population like him but more of a population controller

Feels like an alternate universe where the Combine are still imperialistic in a way but they aren't actively hostile nor do they actually really care about conquest.
Maybe a universe where, instead of the Combine conquering Earth after the Black Mesa Incident, and the Portal Storm they come by to act as a sort of humanitarian relief force to the remainders of humanity in Earth's remaining cities.

i think what happened was the hostle combine wanted to invade a parallel universe that happens to be one where combine and humans are in peace but when they did that they awakened an ancient weird number throwing spiral making civilization

Quick question, what is happening?
What are those airplane things that look like planes that where poorly built what do they even call thos things(not the gunship the ones on the enemy side when you fight the pythagoras soldiers).
Does playing this in the modern source engine disable the music, or did you intentionally disable it to get past RUclips's shenanigans? I have fond memories of the music.
