Brilliant mod in every regard: mapmaking, puzzles, gameplay and sheer fun factor. A ton of work and clever planning went into this and it is a pure gem. Thanks to the super talented author for giving all of us so much of his time and effort.

Yes, and oddly enough, it plays much better streamlined when you don't have to constantly shoot or search for resources. It's also a lot more fun to outsmart your opponents instead of just shooting them down.
Somehow this approach fits Gorden Freeman and the Half Life franchise much better than what you actually do in HL1 and HL2.
Definitely one of the cooler/funnier/brainy mods!

How many times do you play thru a mod to feature a no-deaths walkthrough and going straight thru puzzles? or do you simply cut?
+UnnamedBeast Usually play through once then again to record. Certain levels sometimes require a few takes but HL mods are easy and I usually get it first attempt

Not likely. We never see Zombines before the citadel collapses. I think Alyx makes a passing remark about the combine's system failing, making them vulnerable to the very alien forces they unleashed on us.

@@GoldKnightProduction we see zombines in isolated places like white forest, the old parking garage, or zombie overrun outposts, the episodes are more open, out in the wild, there was zombines before the citadel explosion, trust me

Managed to be praised as a god and be ranked one of the Resistance Leaders.
Blew up the Citadel.
Saved his friend at the destroyed building.
And a scientist who put an end to the Black Mesa Incident
Superb....why couldn't Valve employ this genius to continue the story ??????
I like to think this is a training course for Gordon while he's in stasis, so that when he's thrown out into HL2 he won't be ass with guns.

I would love it if you could make a walkthrough of half life 2, but with the smod gore on. There's only a few videos with the gore mod on youtube, but most only last a few minutes, so please, if you can, could you make it happen :)
What I wish could of happened is when creating the gravity gun it actually became the physics gun from gmod.
I love that this mod shows the origin of the Gravity Gun with you sending the R&D data to the resistance before the gunship attack, possibly even a recording of the fight as a demonstration of the device.

The normal headcrabs look almost like turkeys that got plucked and then after their heads are cut off they died and came back for revenge on us after thanksgiving
I feel like an idiot, I spent a good 30 minutes trying to solve the 2nd puzzle, the one with the wires, so I went to go watch this, apparently you just touch them together? It doesn't work for me. Am I doing something wrong? I have one end of each plugged into the wall but when I touch the ends together nothing happens.
The game code might just be picky about which cord is which. Just use quicksave to try the cables in different slots. If it still doesn't work then you should just noclip past that door.
(yesterday I yanked the end of one cable hard enough to get the other end into the socket. Not that the game recognized it though.)
As much as i loved this mod, that car part at the end was hellish to get through lol

Whoever did this mod should not just get a job at Valve, he should get an oscar for this mod, easily the best I've seen yet. A thousand times better than that Minerva Mod, this is a talent.

The puzzles in this mod were next level for sure and this is one of the mods I never got to finish back in the day due to how difficult to get through them is. Major props to the author.

Man the mod community for half life is great! Maybe this is why we dont have half life 3, because valve knew the community is so creative and passionate that they would make half life 3 before they would.

This mod is the most bullshit thing I've ever fucking played. For all of the second half it just gives you no hints whatsoever. The solutions are just nonsense, like the helicopter roller mine section. How the fuck are you supposed to know that launching the mines at the helicopter will do something? And then the fuse box afterwards.... jesus christ the hitbox is broken to hell.
Don't get me started on the section right before the garage. How are you supposed to know that shoving the metal ramp into the target-thing will launch it into the train cart? The first time I tried that it just didn't do anything, and it left me wondering what the fuck to do for 45 minutes.
I could feel the brain aneurism boiling in my head when I played this.
