A short first thoughts on the crowbar scene: I personally think the guy should’ve been much more panicked and whispering, I also don’t know why he would deliver the exposition of the ambush while in a life or death situation. I feel like it would’ve made more sense if a combine announcement system on the train said something about the “person who isn’t supposed to be there”

Maybe because HL:Alyx just came out not too long ago? Plus HL2 and HL is big in the modding community, give Alyx some time.
@@osakatales9228 If you take time out of the equation HL: Alyx won't leave anything everlasting. There is no melee combat, not everyone has access to VR and the interaction with the objects in that game is not as intricate as I thought it would be (eg. you can't open up jars) and annoyingly you can't seem to kill zombies with one shot to the head in HL: Alyx like in HL2 which makes them bullet sponges (as the headcrab is still alive). HL2 is still better in a lot of ways. The zombies in HL2 can even swing while they are getting up from their resting position.
@@twilightstar9973 Well, it was their choice to remove melee combat as you, the player wouldn't feel helpless when searching for ammo during combat as you'd have a object to easily get yourself out of a sticky situation. Valve has said "they don't like melee in VR as it doesn't have the tactile feedback." Plus you can whack enemies with your gun anyways.
Well mod optimization wasn’t a big concern of Valve when making the game, which is shitty but I’m hoping that’ll change soon

A little note for the dev, in case they see this: at 45:00 when the wood must be removed to open the hatch, it turns out that even if one carefully removes it by pulling it out, the hatch won't open. I had to actually shoot the wood beam after, even though it was lying on the floor away from the hatch. :P

So I was trying to find this mod, but I couldn't remember what it was called. I searched threw all the videos on your page, but I couldn't figure out which one it was. The next day I clicked on the wrong thing and here it was.

Well, I've only watched up to a 26:51 yet, but I can tell that mapping is solid and believeable, while atmosphere is... Okay, I guess. All that "mr.Color" stuff is nice reference. But again, a common flaw has been detected - we don't have HEV, so we have to be as fragile as vanilla metrocops. That is closest to no-BS assesment that I can provide yet.
Why are they in Argentina? and min 2:57 that civilian has a shirt from a famous club in Argentina called "BOCA juniors"

the dialogue won't work for me in this mod despite me installing it correctly, and all voice files are present where they should be, what am i missing?
also additional note: the scripted sequences still work, but the accompanying dialogue does not play, such as the guy who gives you the ticket says nothing but still gives you the item
in my opinion, it would be 2x more interesting to watch, if you leave 1-2 deaths, and dont cut it...
