It might become part of canon, if not be nicely referenced in future Valve works (the same way how Running With Scissors treats the Postal mods A Week in Paradise and Eternal Damnation some referential love).

Having finished it twice now and hunted for some achievements *generally one of the best HL mods out there since Black Mesa; it plays better than HL2.* Dedicated melee button, clear and functional squad movement controls, highlights on key objects and interactables from Portal 2, this mod's got it all.

My heart sank hearing Wilson saying goodbye. You could imagine the childish delight when you turned back for him.
This isn't just a mod. It's a whole new game. And it's so good I can't describe it with words. The story, the map design, the action, new gameplay mechanics, everything is excellent about this. And I almost cried at the moment when Wilson "dies". I'm surprised that this whole new experience is absolutely free. The developers are either just that nice, or they have a very low self-esteem.
In reality, it's just a mod, npc.

I like how the Xen Grenades are balanced in a way that makes sense in-universe. Objects and enemies get sucked in but some of the local fauna is spit out. Less spammable and more risk/reward.
Adore how the Xen Grenade teleports in items from HL1. That's incredibly cool.

Three hours 46 minutes in Bolloxed playthrough time, this is a big one. Entropy Zero was one of my all time favorite half life mods so this is getting a play _right now!_

God, why are you so turned on? Yes, I misspelled the name, I understand it, I have mistakes in English, what is to kill because of this?
Playing through this so far and LOVING it. My favorite moment has got to be with Wilson how you can chuck him into the water and have him explode and Bad Cop is just "Oh well" and moves on. Ironically I feel _more_ attached to him knowing I could just yeet him off the nearest pier if I felt so inclined but have the _choice_ to have him tag along.
Yeah for sure. Knowing characters can die gives them personality and makes them feel real, unlike the soulless NPCs from Half-Life 2.

@@ramonandrajo6348 Portal is part of the half life universe, Black Mesa and Aperture Labs were rivals. what about Borealis the ship belonged to Aperture Labs, it's all connected.
I like the portrayal of the advisors here. They have a cold, calculated but alien like tone to their voice. It also sounds like they're communicating telepathically which is a nice touch.
They don't have a mouth or any way to speak vocalisations that we do.
When Dr Breen speaks to one he doesn't get a reply but the advisor is probably speaking to him telepathically.

This awesome mod might as well be canon! I think that when we are with G-Man and the building begins to break and flood with blue light that's the Combine trapping the G-man in the past, which would have connected the mod with Half Life: Alyx as well! Incredible work!

As a person who always wanted to see a half life game where you play as the combine (basically an opposing forces but half life 2) this mod is the type of cake i always wanted to have.
This mod is what hunt down the freeman wanted to be and i'm gonna be honest, would be amazing to see Valve considering this mod as canon.

Brings so many new things for fans of the vanilla games to enjoy, and the ending is well worth the price of playing. A must try.

U can carry the white turret from the clone safehouse thru most of campaign with wilson, u can alternatively bring them to places and come back for the other. Its godded and distracts enemies

Having another story, the main character of a hl/portal type game actually speaking, and the well pieced storyline makes this one of the best mods out there next to Black Mesa Xen

This is way better then most of the official titles of today I just played half the game and still playing (still in aperture level) my god the graphics are beautiful and story is a amazing took me a while to under the controls and stuff but anyway I hope for the 3rd installment at some point entropy Zero Episode 1 n 2

@@ramonandrajo6348 well will never always be the same, like half life 1 and 2 look, play, explain story very differently. But you are kinda right, i didnt see much half life 2 tone in this while it is a half life 2 mod or an expansion pack for half life 2. Entropy:zero 1 and 2 is meant to be kind of an opposing force. Its not half life 3 but more of an exactly expansion pack. Opposing force didnt change the tone. It improved ai, added a few enemies and weapons. So yes, it didnt reach its goal.

The assault on the compound was one of the coolest things I have ever seen related to half life. Seeing the combine fully go off on rebels with synths everywhere is just badass, not only that but there are rockets flying everywhere, which can be super terrifying when you are playing.

Saw this come up in my feed and downloaded the mod, have to say, so far it's been awesome, and not even for just a fan made game, this is some professional level craftsmanship.
“Ready for some Deja Vu” is a great detail. For the elite Combine, he’s in an unfamiliar place, but to the player, it’s not unfamiliar
Funny how HDTF actually costs money for being a complete piece of garbage while this masterpiece simply is free. With a little bit of tweaking and fine tuning, this might as well be a pure Valve title.

ok i will be real, this alone is already an easy fanmade half life 2 spin off, heck it really hits like its Opposing Force 2 but its not adrian but rather a whole new opposing main character
They added so many new things while still keeping things fresh, they did such a good job with this.
This actually looks and feels to an official DLC or expansion to H-L 2 that would've been something released somewhere back close after Episode 2's release in some alternate reality which is one of the things I love most about it

Without a doubt the best mod although it is difficult for me to call it that because it feels like an expansion of half-life 2 and its episodes, personally I have had two endings and I think the ending is good and there will surely be a sequel or another entropy zero 3 where we will continue with the character walker I hope he finds his daughter and have our friend wilson without a doubt I will become fond of that character now I hope that in the next one we can have more support from the soldiers combine renegades and a hunter like companion ufff it would be epic great work of the creators without a doubt I still find it hard to believe that they did it for free, I should put an option to donate to these great fans of half-life go to hell son of a bitch Berkan Denizyaran learn from these masters is everything and that is my personal opinion I take off my helmet before these teachers

Giving this game a 10/10 is disrespectful, it deserves some kind of rating that goes beyond the ten out of ten system. This game is probably somewhere in my top 5 games. Calling it a mod is limiting. Its basically a whole sequel/spinoff

A Combine Destiny 2 SHOULD be if the mod still alive.
The most satisfying thing about Entropy 2 is that you can actually experience how terrifying and powerful the0 combine forces is. fighting along side striders, hunters hunter choppers, APC and roller mines felt really good.
This is what it looks like when you put passion into making a game. You don't need a huge budget, super hyper realistic visuals, or anything fancy to please us, Valve. We just. Want. More.
I like that small detail if you rescued soldier scar zero from captivity, when the gonome attacked and killed your team you can see in the subtitles that scar zero actually escaped and extracted out of the facility before the gonome struck, hence why your able to reunite with him later on
you can shoot with zoom view in this mod if anybody has not figured it out
And also run while carrying an object

if you turn on God mode and kill and antlion (Preferably the room with 2 holes) you'll get the line "you can't kill me I'm in god mode!"
That happens whenever you kill an enemy in god mode. No map specific trigger for it.
I already know now, the only reason I said this is because my first experience with the Easter egg was the first map
