  • We Are The Foxes (inspired by Ned Beauman's book GLOW), filmed LIVE in Beckham's Bookstore, in New Orleans.
Just before the pandemic we went to New Orleans to be part of the Folk Alliance conference, showcasing artists to promoters. It was meant to set us up for a big second tour to North America, but that didn't happen for obvious reasons. One nice thing we got out of it was visiting a very cool local bookshop called Beckham's Bookshop. It was run by a very smiley older gentleman, and above the main bookshop was a record store (Man Ray Records). We browsed their huge selection, coming across some of Pete's solo albums in the process. It was just after we had started working with him. A English pair who go by the name of The Northern Cowboys, who are amazing musicians in their own right, were filming acts who were appearing at the festival, and so we all took the opportunity to go and film a song in the bookshop.
Come and catch us on tour during summer 2024 as we tour the new album, EMERGE, RETURN. Produced by Pete Townshend.

So I came here searching for you after reading the story about Pete Townsend listening to your CD and liking it that much he helped record, produce and play on the latest album. Not sure how accurate the story is (it coming from the Metro and it's got things badly wrong before) and not here because I am a massive Who or Pete Townsend fan either (I don't dislike either of them, just not especially into them also) but your music is right up my street. I have only heard this track so far but I really enjoyed it, thought it was very well done and look forward to hearing more from you. I hope you continue to go from strength to strength and wish you both well in the future - I have a feeling you are going to be very successful. Kudos.
