However if you main other classes you are quite doomed. You need a reliable duo for this quest and if you have one, you will most likely play different classes. That's how it was for me, at least. Totally not worth it. Chest farm has better time per exotic conversion. You can also farm Ergo Sum in parallel, so it multiplies.

Why do we want to get the joining allies at the same time when we've got about 15 seconds? As long as both players get there before the 15 seconds end, it should be fine, shouldn't it?

I farmed the mission with the old strat for a couple of runs and the time for one player often seemed to be ridiculously short which is why we always tried going faster and faster. The most important part of this is that you both have to reach the ledge AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. If you don't, only the first person to arrive on the ledge will be teleported. If that happens, only the person teleported will be allowed to pick up the second class item.
They should leave it or make it possible for running the same class together. It’s kind of cool that it incentivizes you to run the same class together. Not making it impossible to run with a different class. But having a reason to stack
There is a different spot that doesn't require the timing but still needs eager edge. It's the ledge to the right of the room before you're first shown the fake class items in front of the lght and dark plates. Head over to the ledge and there should be a lower ledge you can drop down to.

This been fixed? We did a run finishing 10 mins after reset and the mission finished 10 sec after we accepted the first item. Didn't even get close to jumping the gap. Stompies and eager edge. Finished one 10 mins before reset and worked fine.
just did it with a friend, he was able to get both but I wasnt able to, mightve been because he got in my way while eagers to the joining allies zone and he landed before i did
As of June 16th, I am unable to find any joining allies zones that work. I have tried a few different spots online and none of them give us joining allies

Edit: ran it three more times. Same thing happened two times going as fast as we could but for some reason no issues on the third run. No deaths, same time, and everything was done the exact same way. Might be a de sync issue on my end
Still working as of this post. The timing is a bit on the tight side. You have to both grab the class item as soon as possible to it spawning. Then you have to arrive at the joining allies spot within about a second of each other (otherwise 1 gets teleported and gets 2 drops, and the other does not).
?? I also played with a guy who didn’t know symbols, but I told him to describe it to me. then I told him what the symbol was called so he could learn. It’s not challenging to help others
Just farming chests in the Pale Heart is better imo. I spent 6 hours farming yesterday and averaged 3 exotic class items per hour. *Not to mention Red Borders, ghost rep, Ergos and world drops aswell

Once you get one, the drop rate from chests in the Pale Heart is pretty impressive and you can get more than 2 in the same time you complete a full DD run. So if anything the chest method is better, as you're grinding weapon red bars if you need them, plus getting seeds for the triumph/banner, plus random engrams, plus xp, plus resetting pathfinder and getting more sword rolls. It's more efficient as it were.

I get 2 class items in the same time the mission takes just doing chests and overflows... on top of that I also get pale heart engrams which is a nice bonus
@@CheeseForever After doing it for longer I find that after every overthrow collecting chests along the way I get a class item which is probably every half an hour So it probably work out 2 every hour whereas this is 2 every 30-40 minutes so I must’ve been lucky when I made my comment I have a feeling class items from chests is tied to some sort of secret points or pity system as I’ve been getting them just before or just after an overthrow ends every single time Wonder what the fastest way to farm them is 🤔
@@CheeseForever Yeah I don't know that is most efficient, just doing normal chests feels slower from my limited testing I found I get them quicker scoping out chests in area with sniper and doing overthrows and those minigame chests along the way My guess is certain things like overflows chests and those minigame chests grant more "pity" or score to whatever system is in place

Not patched but harder to do. Both players need to be joining allies at the same or within 1 second of each other (touch that back door) otherwise one player will teleport and the other won’t as the mission finished will pop up, removing joining allies making it impossible to grab the second one.
This one is a lot easier to do and can be done without a sword or eager edge
They fixed it, you get the same role twice now

@@Animtar- that gives you normal crit damage, the "shield" they have blocks 33% of all non-matching elemental damage

Any way to get back your light/dark buff if you die so you dotn have to restart the mission 🤦♂️
Happened to me twice where I lost the buff. Just die again and you will get it back

you can warlock jump straight from the first ledge to the join allies spot, dont even need eager edge if you dont have it

You need to do an overthrow in each different area of the pale heart first and then look for wizards. 3 areas total
