I think you would have an easier time heating up the wire then hammering. Essentially you're hammering already work hardened wire, heating it up would relax the metal more to allow easier flattening. You could hold the wire with a pair of flat pliers, use a lighter until the metal turns red then start hammering. I appreciate this video popping up on my feed :) very informative and a cute idea!!
You can buy off brand dremels at Harbor Freight pretty cheap. But I love your idea💡! Your jewelry is beautiful and I enjoy your videos. You are not annoying like some channels 😊. Thank you Carrie.
@@BDK0624 oh true! That’s where I got my nylon hammer. Lots of good buys there! Your comment is so sweet and does my heart good - and I’m glad I’m not annoying 😉sometimes I wonder 🤣
The majority of my stones have inherited from my boss that passed away. She had a small business and her husband gifted it to me. I was so overwhelmed and thankful - that is what has started me on this journey! Now, I did go to an Intergem jewelry show, which I thought was a “not doing that again” and a few Fire mountain gems, and from Amazon, believe it or not, that were excellent from Justinstones. That was a long answer a short question 🤗😁
I made an error in relaying the wire needed. Simply 16 g for all the dangles. 20 g for wrapping the stone. Sorry about that! 😅
I can finally use my hole punch!! Ty:) btw you are a natural teacher/instructor
This is the highest compliment 😌 and so sweet of you to say. I really do enjoy sharing the techniques etc. 💕💕💕
