Ikr like I don't have a cat but I was searching for my friends and they were so many that looked like the British Shorthair my friend has two cats one Norwegian Forest Cat and one (British Shorthair I think)

Not all cats have a breed. Some are mixed with many many breeds. Those mixed breed cats are just called, domestic shorthair, and domestic longhair. If it's a stray, that's more than likely what it is. Most strays are not purebred unless they used to have a home. I actually have a siamese cat that someone abandoned outside my house. But kittens born strays, come from other strays mating and are mostly mixed cats. I kind of want to get a dna test of my other cats to see what they are mixed with
@@ellimckiddy5799 We found some Siamese mixed strays once. I think the mom was the neighborhood Siamese and her kittens were from different domestic shorthair dads. The kittens were 1 regular Siamese, 2 tortie Siamese, and 3 all black ones. So all have Siamese in them but are mixed

I want a cat so bad but my mom doesn't want one. But now that she is realizing how scared she is of dogs and how much she actually likes cats she might let me get one, if you save the video into one of your playlist you can always go to it whenever you want without searching it.

My cat is of the American Alley variety, or Heinz 57 Breed. Even though she just showed up on our doorstep when she was just a kitten with no registration papers or history information, we could not love her more. Daisy is asleep on my bed right now and I gladly give up my recliner whenever she wants but her favorite place (and mine too) is in my lap.

I like that cats come in many varied sizes, colors, shapes and fur lengths. When I picked out my cats, I just told the people I wanted short hair and affectionate. I got what I wanted and I love them both. They also rule the house.
Never knew there were so many different cat breeds....dang theyre all beautiful....HOWEVER i got 6 cats aint none of them pure breeds and i wouldnt trade any of them for the world....the only pure breed i would like to add to ky brood is the sphynx....

I'm disappointed the Tennessee Rex wasn't on this list, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since it's still a new breed (less than 10 years since the initial mutation occurred). But it's cool to see some rare breeds listed, and even some that are extinct (Ojos Azules).
Ojos Azules might but might not be extinct its seen as a very rare cat breed not the raarest but in 1992 10 were known to exist but now they stopped registering the cat breed and breeding it because it could cause types of deformities i wouldent be suprised if they were extinct because well cats can die and there were only 10 known in 1992 but theres a small possibility of them not being extinct and apparently the last one seen or recorded was in 2004 they are probably extinct and im not saying that they arent or if they are
@@thespacestar7245 1992 was 30 years ago. If there were only 10 at that time and no more were found thereafter other than one in 2004, they are almost certainly extinct. Lorraine Shelton is a well-respected biologist that studies cats, and she says Ojos Azules is extinct. If anyone owned these cats, they’d definitely make it known they have the breed.

Well, cats are beautiful no matter their breed. I rescued two kittens 5 years ago that have mixed races. One is totally white, green eyes, and his hair is kind of angora, very soft and silky but not as long as real angora. The other cat has a mix of several races, or maybe different furs. He is a Tabby with signs of Bengal and marbled hair. He is gorgeous. His fur is also soft, silky, and very long in certain parts like his belly and neck. Cats are the fine art of nature, God´s creation.

My daughter has a Chantilly. Softest fur EVER and the sweetest breed you can get.
I personally think the Korat is the sweetest because one lives next door to me. I only recommend them to people who will have time to socialize with them a lot because of how clingy and playful they are, they also like dogs and other cats. But just no birds or rodents for pets around them, they will hunt and kill them.

they get into your system, don't they? I love the red burmese, they're a bit special, like little mountain lions. I have to admit loving their Tonkinese cuzzies, too.

Also, a lot of people in the comments are mistaking colour patterns for breeds. Tabby, Calico, Tuxedo, etc aren't breeds.
My precious boy Harley, was an amazing Flamepoint & yeah, they didn’t show one here… I wonder why??? I miss him so much, every minute of every day… He was such a beautiful cat & my little buddy!!! A year after he passed, I got a pure white, golden eye Khao Manee & she’s another amazing & beautiful breed, they are extremely highly intelligent cat’s, with the most adorable personalities!!!
Flame point is a gene so siamese, ragdolls, Persians etc can be flamepointed. It's a beautiful mutation just not a breed of cat ^^ I love flamepoint ragdolls granted poins are just beautiful be it lynx point, seal point, or blue points 😊

@@evajaehnigen6001 No, they aren't. They refer to the color pattern of the fur. Calico and Tuxedo fur patterns can occur in any breed.

Edit: Delilah might actually just be a bengal or a California Spangled.

Any cat that comes to me for love will get pats and scritches of course, and I enjoy their rubbing round my legs and meows, but my heart truly belongs to the rugged beautiful long haired Siberian breed, especially the Neva Masquerade variety, there's just something fairytale (furry tail) and magical about them, especially the female ones. I must say a handful of these I'm not aware of, though I'm a cat nut!
Siberians are my dream cat! I would love to have one because they're so fluffy and sweet.

I have a beautiful pure white, golden eye Khao Manee & she’s absolutely an amazing cat!!! They are from Thailand & first came to the US in 1998… Usually, the Khao Manee has one gold & one blue eye but, I’m glad my sweet girl doesn’t have a blue eye because, they tend to be deaf on the side that the blue eye is… I’ve have had many different kinds of cat’s during my life & have loved each & everyone of them but, my Khao Manee is by far, the smartest & most intelligent cat, I’ve ever had!!! 🐈

A local country area in Australia had feral with no tails or bobs. Mutation bred in, one Tom with it is going to make lots more.
