EcoFlow River 2 Max 500w Power Station Review

Here's a quick review of the EcoFlow River 2 Max power station. Have had a few months to test this thing out and it rocks! It's small enough to haul around easy and doesn't take up much space in my roof top tent. But with 500w of power it powers everything I need it to.

Great piece of kit! I bought one also, but ended up upgrading to the slightly larger 768Whr “Pro” model which I like a little better for my usage. Can’t go wring with either!

I noticed when you scrolled through the settings it looked like you can change the input wattage. Can you confirm that? I would like to be able to charge it with the 400 watt inverter in my F-150.

Yes you can change both the AC and DC input levels. The AC can charge as low as 100w and as high as 660w. For DC input you can select 4, 6 or 8 Amps. The EcoFlow comes with both an AC & DC charger that you could use in your F150

Simply because the River 2 Max was on sale at Costco for a good deal. I’m sure the River 2 Pro is awesome as well. Just evaluate what power needs you have now and will need in the near future and choose a size based on that.
