Happened to my dad. He refused to go, the paramedics told me they're not in the business to convince people to go to the ER. So I grabbed my dad dragged him into my car and drove to the hospital. My dad suffered a serious stroke. I'm thankful for the doctors, nurses and entire medical staff for helping my dad. It's been over a year and he's almost 100%
This guy looked suspiciously like Robin Williams for a second. His face is different on closer inspection, but from a passing glance at the thumbnail I thought it was him.
When it was revealed that he had a hole in his heart, I was shocked. I had NO idea you could have that later on in life. I had a hole in mine when I was born and I had surgery when medication failed to shut it
Thank God your wife knew something was wrong. She saved your life so you can continue helping others reclaim theirs. As a retired nurse and see what you do to repair others mess ups, puts me in awe. God bless you and your wife

What's the point of calling 911 when the ambulance arrives, the EMTs could not convince him to go to the hospital?! He went in one Uber. To go home. She went in another Uber and told her Uber to follow him. Then, she got on the phone to his medical buddies to tell them to tell him to go to the hosp. They called him and talked some sense into him to go to the hosp. Heather saved his life. Stubborn goat.
I love them both together. They brings out the best in each other. Thank god your doing good. Something similar happened to my mum infront of my daughter. But my daughte didn't know what was wrkng. But mum is good now. Thank God.

I watched an interview with Dr. Dubrow. It wasn't Heather who convinced him to go to the ER. It was fellow doctors calling him after they were contacted by Heather who convinced him to go to the ER. He actually left the restaurant in an Uber because he absolutely was not going to go to the hospital.
I am so happy she was there, but anyone else knows that she hardly talked about how her husband was in the situation, but how she felt in the situation. She tried making it all about her when her husband was the one who went through the ordeal not her. I’m not trying to say she’s a bad person, but she could have a little more empathy and try not to make about her.
Mini-stroke (TIA) isn't actually that bad. PFO would have been a bigger issue right there. THAT SAID, if you do have a TIA, you're more likely to have a real ischemic stroke within a few days or weeks which can end in permanent brain damage or death. He likely does not suffer any problems regarding his TIA. But, PFO COULD potentially have caused a real ischemic stroke.
Just stop... for yes, it is ' that bad' because it Always means an underlying condition or disease that needs to be treated. Way wait for the 'big one' that's going to kill or seriously disable a patient when you already got the Warning call? Heart disease and related illness there's still the number one cause of death right under it medical malpractice not far behide ...no surprise for both
