@@MakingwithMarilyn thank you for your videos may I ask do you do the full maintenance often I.e the clean under the printed head and pulling through the tubs and wast tank every 7 days ? I have the same model and I have watched the videos of care and I’m so worried ! I’m also away for a week
There are a couple of things that come to mind. I have mine set in the settings to place 100% white ink on the back of every piece of my designs. Possibly yours are set to zero? Or, your white ink is clogged and not coming out. To check, I would print a letter (like the letter T or any other letter) in white. Most printers don't print white, but since the DTF printers do, the T should print in white. If it prints okay, then your settings are not set correctly to place white on the back of your designs.
You do have to set up in the settings to have white print behind it (looks like on top of it when you print). I have both of my white channels set to print at 100%.
Thank you for another informative video. I will be purchasing a DTF printer in 2024 and I was concerned because I do like to travel. Guess I should look into hiring a DTF printer sitter😂😂😂
Sounds like either your white inks are clogged, which can happen very easily with DTF printers, or you do not have your settings set to print the white layer(s). Did it ever print the white?
It may be a modified L805, but I'm not sure and I'm away from the house. It is the Procolored A4 size printer. The least expensive one they sell. If you want to check it out on their website, it will probably say.
It is a really nice beginner DTF printer. If I had the ability to go up in price, I would get the A3 since it will print up to about 13" wide instead of just over 8" wide. The A4 really limits the size of what you can do, but I work around that issue. I can put several sheets in the back but I load them just when I am ready to use it so that they don't get dusty. If I am printing 5 sheets at a time, then I would go ahead and load 5 sheets. Thanks for watching!
What is the biggest you can print with that printer? I bought the Procolored L1800 in December and it stopped woking on me. I have been since working with the technicians trying to fix it
My printer only prints up to 8.3 inches wide. The one issue I had with it was the blinking lights when it thinks the waste tank is full. The resetting software on my thumb drive didn’t work. I Skyped with their tech and he fixed it in a few minutes. I hope they figure yours out.
How do you deal with maintenance and traveling? I travel for 2-3 weeks at a time. That is the only thing keeping me from getting a DTF, but I still will love to have one.
I haven’t had to do it yet, but there is a way to prep them for when you are on vacation. I will have to do that late this summer. For our weekend trips, I do a couple of printhead cleanings when I get home.
@MakingwithMarilyn I'm looking into the Procolor because of the price point and also looking into brands distributors in the US because of the tech support 🤔. Thanks so much for the advice.
@@thecraftypuertorican I can tell you about my tech support experience with ProColored sometime. It’s odd hours due to the time difference but the support was very good. For me, it was evening time. Let me know if you want to chat about it.
I have a ProColored printer. I have the small one (A4 size), but they have one that prints larger sized transfers. I have a link in the video description if you want to check them out. Thanks so much for watching!
Does anyone notice whiter then white spots. For example I have shade of white next to or under my white font. I hope I’m making sense. Thanks in advance.
Does it happen to be that there is white DTF powder is beyond the outside of the font? If you want to post a picture and ask the question in my Facebook group, you sure could.
Hey there Great video!! Very informative… I’m interested in purchasing a DTF printer but not sure which one.. which one do you use and recommend? Thanks …
I use the A4 Procolored DTF Printer. I love it, but it is a smaller printer and does not print wide format prints. I haven't used any other printer to be able to recommend them. I do love my printer and being smaller, it is more affordable, but it would be nice to have an A3 printer to be able to do larger prints. Thanks so much for watching!
@@MakingwithMarilyn hey there..thank you so much for your response… great I’m about to look into that printer… it definitely has quality prints, but I may need to go a little bit bigger for some of my designs.. I’m so glad it’s been working out good for you!!
Why did my prints just print with no white ink at all? One showed it was at 100% on W1 and W2, the other one didn't show it had white ink on the back but I just assumed that's how the image was made.
These printers are so much work 🎉 Marilyn’s here to make it make sense people ❤ thank you Marilyn
Thanks, Heather!

WOW, Marilyn! That’s seems simple enough.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the maintenance on your DTF Printer.

Can you remote print with this printer so u could print something so it doesnt clog
I'm really not sure if you can use remote printing software with it. You can put it in vacation mode.
When I print, there is no white on the other side of the film. What am I doing wrong ?

did you solve it? can you send me settings
I just had to keep cleaning the ink until I see the white on the practice print with the squares M C BK W W colors
why does mine only print color but no white layer over it? my motifs come out in color

Do you wipe the print head down weekly with rubbing alcohol

Your white ink in the printhead or tubes may have dried up. When was the last time you printed from it?
