Hi guys, first of all. You seemed to enjoy my last video (Fish Trap), it did great and i am glad it did, because it went a lot of work into it. So thank you. I hope you will enjoy this one as well. Have a nice day. /Andree.
Also useful to make some sort of shelter! Simply layer bits of tape over each other in a shingle or fish scale fashion and before long you have a weather proof sheet.
This was a great video, to the point and with good instruction. We all joke about the million of things we can fix with Duct Tape, but seriously, I always keep a roll in my truck and bring one with you when you go camping or a long day hike. You will be glad you did.
If you use a small ziplock or small black garbage bag, you can save duct making the tree limb end cup. Bag on end, then tape up. Bag is solid, no leaks, and duct provides the stiffness. Further options, wood frame work fish trap. Dollar Store $1 6' x 8' party cotton (gill) netting. Over 15+ uses multipurposing the net. Framework and netting for huge or multiple fish, crayfish, crab, lobster trap, fish weir, emergency arm sling, arm sling for holding/carrying sticks/tinder, DIY snowshoe foot netting, roycroft triangle wood backpack with netting ruck (and arm slings), bear hang netting, camp hang netting, multiple fold overs pole stretcher, multiple fold overs raised bed hammock netting, multiple fold over hammock under tree limb (or hanging hammock), tree limb hanging hammock pouch seat, ... multiple tree limb hanging fold over hammock netting (up in the tree), ....
Thank you for this! Not only are these useful ideas on duct tape, I finally got an idea of how a spring snare setup is supposed to work. I've watched other videos but it didn't make sense until now.
Beware of toxic fumes put out by the duct tape burning- allow for 15 minutes burn time before cooking over an open flame- cooking in a pot should however be perfectly fine.
Very clever as always. I will definitely keep these in mind. I had to laugh at your prat fall at the end because I know how agile you are from your earlier videos. Thank you!
another good hack with duct tape is to use it in making a splint for your broken arm when you fall off of a roof lol. Awesome video, thank you.. great information! :)
Excellent, I love the bowl. I have been in situations outdoors where I could have used that and never had the ingenuity like you do. I will now though!
Thank you. I guess now there's 1,004 uses for duct tape. Theres actually a couple that I wouldn't have thought of. For instance the fire ball. That was pretty good. I really liked the bucket as well. The "tinder" would be good in the rain. Thanks again.
Nice ending :D Hope you're OK. The water container was the one thing I've never thought of doing with duct tape - very good idea. Also, you could use the tape on minor cuts or wounds - its glue is antiseptic.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!..... all i've been doing is cutting ($1-bill sized+) flat panels from plastic milk or restaurant cooking oil containers, etc. and then duct taping/('Gorilla Tape'!) them into different length wallets & pouches.
Nice job, just one hint -for a stronger handle, start the handle as the first thing you make sticky-side in and run it all the way from the base (it takes more tape but has incredible reinforced strength. Then finish the sticky side-in layers.
Wow, that was inspiring! People always talk about the many uses of "DUCK" tape, but you, my friend showed us five incredible examples of just that. Thanks.
