Not sure if they added this later or you missed it on yours, but the shoe has a calibration screw for the bevel asjustment, so that it will actually cut at 90° when set to 90°.
Model 570 umożliwia głębsze cięcie o 10 mm, ponieważ wymaga większego brzeszczotu. To jest główna różnica. Zależy to więc od rozmiaru drewna, z którym pracujesz.
want to ask if someone know my dcs570 problem..why when i press the switch, firstly it working normally..but when i put it for about 10 minutes..and i press the switch again, its not working..and when i take off the battery, put it back to machine..its working again..for used it for break time not to long..it's ok..but if stop use about 10 minutes..that problem coming again and again..what should i do? sorry if my english not so good..im from malaysia
@tooloptics8651 it's not overheating sir..just used it cutting about 3-5 seconds..and in 10 - 20 minutes used again..never overheating yet before..look like the sensor or anything like that
You didn’t mention, but you can see in your video at 2:43 the line guide notch at the front of the base plate is badly out…about 2mm. For machined metal parts this inaccuracy is dreadful….basically if you use the guide to follow a line your work piece will be 2mm wider than you wanted. It would not have cost DeWalt anything to just ensure it was correct huh!
Hi Contessa. I think the notch on the base plate you are referring to, is for when you are cutting at 45 degrees. So I think the accuracy of the base plate is pretty good. But thanks for the comment. 👍
Put it another way….saw a line along a fence guide….then just back up (with power off) and see where the cut line comes at the front notches. The cut is a good 2-3 mm to the right of the notch. The second notch is for beveled cuts…probably well out too I’d imagine. Thanks for responding.
nice concise video to the point with no nonsense great stuff bought one
Thanks Thomas. I appreciate the feedback.
Excellent review. Thankyou.
My pleasure. Glad it was helpful

Cool. I’ll have a look at mine. That’s a great feature.

I've had nothing but problems with mine, it just stops cutting all the time, I've stopped using it
Sorry to hear that Steve. Generally DeWalt are really good.
What size was the battery you were using?
I bought it too. Thanks for the video

I haven't had that problem on my one. Does it cut off after 10 minutes of use. Do you think it could be overheating?
