At the moment I'm enjoying making videos of power tools. I may do DIY tutorials in the future, we'll see.
This is a new channel taking a closer look at power tools and how to use them.
I showcase power tools, their features and close-ups, enabling you to see the tool's build quality and features. I'm not sponsored in any way and this enables me to share an unbiased view of the tools I review.
I've also added a "How to" section where I show step by step videos of how to use various power tools.
This channel is designed to help you make an informed decision when buying power tools. It's also made to help people new to DIY work or woodworking to learn some basic skills

Thanks
No problem
saw kit of two atomic tools (this + 709 with 2x 4ah batteries for about 290 euros and checked videos. I never had anything better than 12v random LIDL drill. Seems this is not worth it. Ill go cheaper for a 100-year combo (100 euros less for same-ish stuff just without impact driver) and then if needed seems I can get some impact driver fitting 18v system if I actually end up needing it.
Shot dude, bought an electric plane today after getting too frustrated with my handplane and it kept leaving a trackline on the left hand side. I knew it couldn't be level but had no idea I could fix it. Saved me a lot of grief here.
No worries, glad it helped.
I just want to know how to install the sandpaper
You can use the sandpaper with velcro that just sticks to the base. Or you lift the arms on each side, put the sandpaper in place and then clamp the arms back in place. I might have to do a video for that in the future. 👍
I love you, man. I've been searching for this for a while now.
Thanks mate. Appreciate the comment

thanks. Nice and easy. Should we drill the screw into stud of the wall for second case or hollow wall is fine?
190 Nm are a joke
Thank you Sir.🎉
You’re most welcome
Has anyone used it for sand blasting?
Your using 18 volt batteries in a 20 volt tool. Use the right battery and it will perform better.
He was using the right battery
18v and 20v are the same batteries. It's US branding Vs Europe (and maybe other areas) branding. You can't market them as 20v because it's misleading. 18v is the nominal voltage they only achieve 20v for short intervals
Amazing video 🙏🏿
Great video 📹 😊
Thank you! 😃
Waited over minutes to load up,and lasted less than 2 minutes using air gun
How much is
About US$200
They must have changed something because my 809 is a 20v and states it on the case. Maybe the extra volts helps with the RPMs.
20 volt tools are really only 18 volts
Just marketing. They are 18 volt battrries, but they are 20 volt max
Nice video. The problem I'm having with my planer is, when it's zeroed out, the rear shoe isn't level with the front.
Thanks. Yes I have the same problem. I think it’s because Ryobi is a cheaper brand.
my dwalt impact is odd, when I put a drill bit in , it wobbles side to side !
Ha ha. Use an impact bit and it should work perfectly 👍
@@tooloptics8651 it is a impact bit
Right. The bit in an impact driver will wobble a little bit. That’s normal for an impact driver. A regular drill will hold a bit more precisely and firmly. It’s not really recommended to use drill bits in an impact driver. Hope that helps.
I had the same problem. When I took my impact driver apart to change the chuck, I think I reseated the gearbox properly and I believe the problem is fixed. I think it is just a bit misaligned.
fantastic, thank you
Glad you liked it!
I just got it. Is it any good?
I think they’re pretty good for their price point. Mine has given me no troubles.
@@tooloptics8651 I used it a few times. Its bene fine. For the cost, it can't be beat!
Should the front shoe be completely level with the rear shoe?
Yes it should be lower. I set the blade with the front shoe lower than the rear plate. I’m trying to feel the rise of the ruler as the blade passes under it. So you definitely don’t want the front plate to be higher than the back even by a millimeter.
This is what happened to my Ryobi biscuit jointer first time I used it, It caught fire ! ruclips.net/video/LpPStdYPkFU/видео.html
The music really?
Cheap rubbish
Show it in use! We know the features.
Excellent review. Thankyou.
My pleasure. Glad it was helpful
want to ask if someone know my dcs570 problem..why when i press the switch, firstly it working normally..but when i put it for about 10 minutes..and i press the switch again, its not working..and when i take off the battery, put it back to machine..its working again..for used it for break time not to long..it's ok..but if stop use about 10 minutes..that problem coming again and again..what should i do? sorry if my english not so good..im from malaysia
I haven't had that problem on my one. Does it cut off after 10 minutes of use. Do you think it could be overheating?
@tooloptics8651 it's not overheating sir..just used it cutting about 3-5 seconds..and in 10 - 20 minutes used again..never overheating yet before..look like the sensor or anything like that
Thanks ....that was so helpful
You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@tooloptics8651 my planer was gouging at the start.... the blades were not correctly set up ... they are now after watching the video .... I forgot to connect the extraction hose so spent 30 mins sweeping up lol... cheers from the 🇬🇧
Ha ha. Yes they make a huge mess very quickly. Glad the video helped.
@tooloptics8651 ...fractions can make such a big difference ..I have actually taken the blades out now and trying to get the base plates smoother as they have annoying machine marks on them ... (my fault for buying budget ) ... it will be fine tho just needs some "fine tuning "
Тоже себе такую выбираю😂
Хороший выбор
Thanks. Very nice and easy and straight to the point
You’re welcome
Thank you
You’re welcome
You probably should specify that this is for Ryobi planers.
I think that much is obvious but my Bosch is very similar and I imagine others are too.
Wen is very similar as well
Also the cheap harbor freight planar. Exactly the same
Thanks for the video! Now I know, had no idea how to do this...
Glad I could help!
I got my AEG impact driver and drill in a combo deal with two 2Ah batteries and charger. I haven’t used the drill much but the impact driver is handy for screwing in tent pegs.
the music is a distraction to your excellent presentation 🥲
Thanks for the feedback. Good to know.
I got a few Dewalt 18V XR tools and I am pretty happy with it.But still reluctant to use a cordless tool when it has a high power demand(like saber saws or angle grinders).IMHO those tools are for a specific and quick jobs but it can not replace the cable tools.I suppose Flexvolt spectrum solves this issue.(I never tried it) But it is a pretty expensive option for a DIY.With the 18V XR tools, you always going to need a bunch of batteries(I got 4 batteries of 5Amps and 2 of 2,5Amps,and still not enough) or a cable tool at your side.
You are wrong and need to update youre thinking about modern cordless tools and batteries
Thanks thats just exactly what I need to know 😊
No worries. Happy to help.
Good review, Just a comment on accuracy, if you take time to set up properly can be very accurate, as with any survey gear.
Thanks for the tip!
Just what i needed to see. Thank you.
Glad I could help!
No nonsense. Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks
Do not buy ryobi tools. I just bought RMS305DB. What a shit instructions, which remind me aboriginal engravings. You won't get what they wanted to say in those. That video also shows how they value your time. Basically they do not care about user and users time. The video by nature is a slow information providing and especially slow navigation. But they have added the music instead of explaining. Avoid byuing Ryobi tools.
I've got this planer just yesterday but the manual nor this video explain the purpose of that little plastic movable wedge @2:01.
I think it’s a maximum height guide for when you’re cutting against a fence because of the motor behind it. If your fence is higher than that, your planer won’t be able to make the pass. Not sure if that makes sense 😀
@@tooloptics8651 not persuasive 🤓
Great review. Thank you.

120 Lpm is very low for a unit of its size. Wouldn’t be any good for painting :(
Thanks a lot
No worries.
