Thank you for the demonstration Mark, I was bit apprehensive figuring out on my own, but I am so glad that I came across your vlog and I’m confident now that you showed me.
    Many thanks.

😂 always excited to get new tools, take time opening to savour the moment 🤗.
That looks to be a great saw Mark, certainly appeared to cut effortlessly & will be good to see it in action in future videos 👍.

I love my Dewalt 20v and 60v saws, I have the 578 flexvolt and the 566 saw

I have the Ridgid brand of battery tools. The power saw is excellent. I have almost permanently retired my cordless saw since buying it. Thanks Mark.

You can’t go wrong with most of the top brands. I don’t know Ridgid but I’m sure it very good. I can see me doing the same already with my corded saw.

@@thesmallworkshopadventures7522 My understanding is that Ridgid is not sold in the UK. It has a lifetime warranty but is less expensive than DeWalt. DeWalts are great tools and I own a Dewalt corded drill. Just too expensive for me.

It’s great to get some new toys. I’ve got a corded dealt saw and they are brilliant peace of kit. Just had a new toy myself lumberjack router table. Not got any battery power tools apart from my dealt drill and unpack driver. 👍👍

Very envious right now Mark. I've just bought the dewalt 18v brushless impact driver but still want the circular saw. Hope to get one soon. 👍

The impact driver is a must have essential tool to have. But I use the combi drill a lot as well. I’m thinking about getting a second Combi drill as they both have very different applications.

Same as you mark, I have two combi drills also but my mitre saw is evolution and I just have a generic circular saw. I want to go with dewalt all the way.

Love the cordless gear I have the equivalent makita cordless saw. Hardly use the corded makita saw any more just keep an old blade in it for rough stuff. Better safety with out a cord as well. You probably flipped though the manual by now but I thought I saw a spanner for changing the blade under the battery. I have relatives in uk and hospitalisation are going up stay safe take care. The cordless does feel so much safer . I’ve already used it quite a lot. I’m using it with my speed square and it so much quicker. I will stay safe and you also.

Just bought this saw and saw you use a adjustable spanner that will round the corners off It comes with its own spanner at the back

Great Review, have had mine for over 2 years and haven't touched it because I've been too scared to operate it. I got mine in a Big Bundle Pack with other tools. Gonna help finish of my backyard deck project.

Went for this model instead of the 165mm. I like to rip plywood with a straight edge and the 165mm with the motor on the right hand side feels like it’s designed for left handed people.

I have the smaller Dewalt 18v 165mm. Works really well used with a speed square. Always feels very much safer than with my older 240v corded saws. Great for CLS and cladding work.

Nice circular saw. Does it not come with an Allen key to tighten the nut?

Nice! Problem with having these RUclips channels is you cannot just rip into a box, you need to set the camera up first 😀

Greetings. Is it better to buy DeWalt DCS393 or DeWalt DCS570N

Nice saw. I have used it a fair bit for making hand held cuts. But I have noticed that the show is not parallel to the blade. In fact it is out by about 1/8". This is not a problem when making freehand cuts but becomes a problem when trying to make cuts relative to the shoe using a guide of some kind. I have checked the dewalt web site for support, but they want all your personal information down to your 5th cousin on your mother's sides birthday. What for? I just want to know if this thing can be straightened or whether it is just a cheap piece of junk? Arrg. Frustrated customer.

I agree with you . It is out when using a temporary fence or guide. I’ve run into this problem a couple of times. I now only use it for freehand cuts .

You did not reveal: The front of the sole plate has a guide notch….but it is 2mm out. If you follow a pencil line with it, your workpiece will be 2mm wider than expected. This is poor design for a professional level tool. Otherwise it is very good.

This is something I’ve discovered as I’ve used it a lot. Needing to adjust

The 2mm you talking about is the kerf of the blade it designed for!
