I'm glad I came across your video because I looked for a Talaria Sting battery on Chi's site earlier, but maybe it was because I was on mobile, but I didn't see anything for Talaria. I see it clearly on my PC browser though.
Does anyone know how much power you can deliver through the Talaria stock battery Connector. I know people have upgraded the surrons for bigger power builds. I just bought a titan 72 max and want to ensure I can really push 25kW+ of power through it.
Not thrilled with this design. Also not thrilled that I have to supply the locking bracket at this price point. I'll wait and see what KO comes up with.
I wouldn't get too hung up on supplying your own bracket. It's easy to remove from the cover you won't be using. I am looking to work on a solution for a half cover. If I come up with something half decent, pun intended, I think it will make this thing look pretty awesome.
@@Crab.Ragoon Jesus dude. It's a 3 minute swap. Plus why would Chi supply this when you have this on the stock cover. Makes no sense to supply it with the battery
It's not really any faster because your not putting in more volts. But you keep the top end longer, so you can stay faster longer. Does that make sense?
Is there any possible way to match my display percentage with my battery percentage. Maybe the eggrider v2 display. Please help I just received my titan and I’m looking for a display option also with the battery display as well
Nice to have an option for a bigger battery but not having an actual cover and the exposed wires upfront are a huge letdown and a NO BUY for me. Also the rather sharp edges you have to deal with now does not spell safe for me as well.
@@SESSIONS73 Gotcha, yeah in its current state I would not touch it for safety concerns, if they manage something like for the Surrons, I would be a buyer!
Chi Batteries are tried & Proven and are the best in the business !! EBMX ?? Not tooo sure on reliability & longevity ?? I just would have kept that Talaria stock then done a 72V / GLE BAC 8000 upgrade eventually ! @@mountaingoat8788
So, have a super73 question. Sourced a RX frame because I have no self control. Now owning two sur-rons, a 12kw Enduro and a weped. Has anyone came across an aftermarket RX bracket for the QS motor dropouts?
I just received the 72 titan max! Parameters may be slightly different than mine but maybe you can still help? I am getting an error code 37 which is the low battery protection error. My current settings are: Ah 51, Fu 84, Cu .1, Hu 84, Lu 54, Ha 45, Ac .6, Aa 3.3, Au 84. Configuration guide says Ah is amp hours, FU voltage charged, Hu over voltage alarm, Lu under voltage alarm, Ha overcurrent alarm. I appreciate all your input! Edit: any ideas on what the other acronyms mean?
You may want to reach out to CBS. Their support team is awesome, but my guess is that you have the stock controller and it might not be compatible. You may need to upgrade your controller to a 72v one as well. Sorry I couldn't be more holp.
@@SESSIONS73 No worries! I contacted Chi and it's nothing on their end. I wasn't sure if the bms communicated a parameter to the controller or something. I just bought the new rush ko spec controller and have a support session booked with KO. I'll keep you posted
A mean “amps” not volts at 0:53 😅

Sweet. Be sure to use my code when you buy it. We both get hooked up.
Is there anything I can do with my stock battery that does not have enough juice for the charger to recognize it?
Your workshop looks awesome.
I wish it was my workshop. It's just a temporary space. Someday, though!
So how much extra range did you get?
Can you please do the range test still 🙏🏾
Just filmed it today
I'm getting the Tarlaria Sting R MX4 here pretty soon. I want this battery but every time I go onto there site it's always out of stock. Grrrrrr
Buy the MX-3 it has better motor for higher RPM

Good question... Anyone?
Wow one more reason to by a Talaria
What kind of tires do you have? Wheel size?
How much more range do u actually get have u done a full test against the stock battery
Nope, but it's on my radar. Stay tuned.
@sessions73 -have u range tested yet?
@@mikeloveschona here you go: ruclips.net/video/5YMazfzx9rc/видео.html
Thanks for doing this video, what tires are those on your Talaria??
Thanks! They're the Shinko 244s, but they may have discontinued them. Check the 241s, though.

@@SESSIONS73 Not really the point when you're paying that much for a battery.

Fyi. Those clips are called E clips. Look at it, it looks like an E. They use them in auto mechanics all the time. Nice video
If you have gone full throttle yet how much faster is it than stock in the sense of acceleration

Oh ok yea for sure. I just got the 72 volt touring battery and I wasn’t paying attention that you only had the 60 volt. Thanks for all the help.
I think a second battery would be my choice. The charger is nice though.
I've loved it. Especially now that I have a half cover built for it.

I don't think so. It's a limitation, but not a big one.
Hey, do you mind givning me the measurements on the battery and bike. I can probably make a better looking aftermarket battery cover. 👍
Sure, what all do you need?
Measure the battery all sides WxHxL. I think I can work from there. 😊
L - 6 3/4”
W - 5 5/8”
H - low point 15”, high point 17”
Ebmx has a 60v 65ah battery same size as stock battery they use diffrent celles
They do good work

Ebmx uses diffrent cells they have a 60v 65ah that is the same size as 38ah stock battery..
They are working towards a cover and a proprietary latch hook. This was an early version.

I know I haven’t, but commenting in hopes you find it!
Is this the talaria sting r mx4?
no this is the first generation
Yeah, first gen. Should work for the R though
only problem I see with this is it needs a lid. for the price its being asked for it should have one
Ebmx 60v 65ah battery is the same size as stock.
Rumor has it, they're working on something. So am I :)
Does it fit sting r?
@@shmack-dab-in-da-middle3960I’m wondering the same thing
🤘🏾⚡️🤘🏾🔥 your bike looks great too!!
Appreciate it!!
Does the 72v version have a BMS already built in?
They should all have a BMS built in.
is this battery comparable with the mx3 and the mx4?
It is. Check em out!
does this add speed, or range?
Definitely adds range.
ah ok
Even if you multiply fun per hour, it don't add up. for 3k Id buy a second bike before ever putting that much into just a battery.
Yeah? The added range makes it worth it to me. Thanks for watching the video.
Good video brother i like it
Thanks for the visit

Rush Spec is getting updated software that's coming out anytime. I was able to get another tune file from KO until the softwares updated tho!
How many diggum smacks?

wow!
Yeah
Its crazy these companies charge for a battery upgrade. It's half the cost of a brand new bike 😤
It is, but batteries are usually half the cost of the bike as well.
