    I had a sur-ron but sold it. Hated the throttle response, it was more like an on / off switch. Couldn't just ride at a steady, constant speed. The throttle response on the talaria, at least with a 52 tooth sprocket, doesn't have that issue so I'm a happy guy. It's got a lot more refinements over the sur-ron too. Seems to me sur-ron has laid back and done little in the way of refinement or improvements. Why would they, they sell every one they make. Well the Talaria is why you don't sit back and do little or nothing. A hungry competitor will eat your lunch. The improvements on the Talaria are not frivolous stuff either. I liked the Sur-Ron I love the Talaria.

      No joke I was going to put my order in for a sur ron this weekend, figured I'd save the $100 difference from the talaria. Because of your comment, I'll be ordering the talaria instead

    Would you pick the Fast Ace fork over the DNM if you had the choice? I’m a light rider at 150 and have the option but not sure which to pick.

    • @db_dirtybike
      @db_dirtybike  2 года назад

      Great question. For your weight either would work fine for basic trail riding, however if you are planning to do more aggressive riding you’ll want to upgrade to a higher quality fork like a Fox Float 40.

      @@coolshariq You did.

    • @MotoAlias
      @MotoAlias 2 года назад +1

      @@coolshariq yes you did ebikezilla has the best price around and I'm pretty sure they supply most of the other dealers hence why the other dealers all charge 500 more monies. Dnm forks are better forks period. I ordered mine on black Friday and simply could not handle another setback. I hope to get some different forks very soon but for now the rst forks do have the advantage of looking more like a bicycle and therefore you have less trouble riding around town less dirty looks the whole nine. Manitous are the fork to get if you can. Don't get the rst forks unless you'll be able to upgrade eventually. They're fine for a while. I was hell bent on the dnms just because I busted myself buying the bike prob won't be able to afford new suspension really soon. But if I'm determined I can make anything happen.

    I can't get any good information on the gearbox they have, literally no one is talking about it.
    Can you go over the ratios and how they change how the bike feels, or really anything about it, the company has zero press materials, reminds me of SurRon all over again, are they even a real entity?, really annoys me how some of these Chinese companies are run frankly.
    Make a thing, sell a thing, don't care about the thing once it leaves their hands, no way to contact the company for parts etc.
    Don't get me wrong.. I'm getting one, but wish an American manufacturer would make basically the same thing, I'd be all over that first.

    • @db_dirtybike
      @db_dirtybike  2 года назад

      The oil filled gear box ratio is a little lower than the Light Bee. This means it requires about a 5 tooth smaller final drive sprocket to get the same overall ratio. The gearbox is super quiet and very durable.
      As for customer service talariaus.com will stock replacement parts and handle warranty claims soon. You can also contact Talariacanada.com and they will provide great customer service for all of your needs.
