  • On 25th May 2024, Hanson and Hall teamed up with the Branch Line Society for another weird and whacky track excursion, this time to Cambridgeshire and West Anglia.
First up, 50008 is seen storming out of Littleport at Willow Drove with 1Z56 from London Kings Cross to Kings Lynn.
After this, it's up to the destination of 1Z56, Kings Lynn, where a detailed overview of the train is seen. The coaching stock is the 4TC unit.
Once away from 'Lynn', it's back down to Littleport again, where 20007 is seen thrashing south past Victoria Street with 1Z57 from Kings Lynn to Eastleigh via March.
Next up, it's down to bordering Hertfordshire, where 50008 makes a sweeping pass beside Sawbridgeworth Maltings on 1Z57 from Kings Lynn to Eastleigh.
Finally, the train is seen still with 'Thunderer' leading, this time at Roydon Lock, again, working 1Z57 from Kings Lynn to Eastleigh.
Thanks for watching, South East Train Hub.

I live near Lynn but there are very few specials like this one so I am a bit peeved that I managed to miss this one. At least you have got some great shots and great sounds- very impressive.

Great footage Jake, must have taken a lot of effort to achieve this.
