Great video!! I subscribed and I like your intro. Not many youtubers are brave enough to mention God because they dont want to get cancelled. Thanks for the help!
So if I’m shipping 3-5 cards I’ll put them in the card saver to save weight. The lop loaders weigh so much more when it comes to the under 1oz per stamp rule. So I learned with singles or even 2 cards top loaders are fine. You can do 3 cards in card savers and still stay right under 1oz for 1 stamp.
True. Card savers offer less protection( they’re less stiff ) than a top loader though. So take that and the value of what your shipping into consideration.
Thank you for the great info! I just started a TCGPlayer store and was wondering how to ship safely and affordably! Last package I mailed was only 2 cards and cost me almost $9!! 🤢🤢
Card should be placed upside down in the top loader. 1 inch approx. strip of tape partially attached to the most outter edge of the card sleeve, then excess to be folded in itself to create an easy strip to pull out card in sleeve from top loader.
Yup! The only problem is you either have to wait around all day for them to show up, or pay to make an appointment. Unless your shipping a TON of boxes, sometimes its easier to just go and drop the packages off
i loved the video, im doing research because this is a hobby but i definitely need a side hustle. do you have a video further explaining the shipping label and those items? thanks again for the vid:)
You actually can’t. It was an incredibly limited release a few years back. I didjtnevennrwlizenjtnjntik I tired to buy another one and couldn’t find them anywhere except the artist talking about how they were limited to like 200 or something.

Oof I’ve sold and sent out like 10 cards in toploads in an envelope 😱… Also, still have to wait in line just to deliver my mail (don’t trust slipping it in the box or leaving it wherever they ask me) plus I like to know that they actually received it and I got the receipt in hand to show any buyers if anything happened that it was hand delivered to the people and after that it’s their responsibility, doesn’t mean I won’t help out still (I’ve received a card in an envelope too, got here perfect)
If you're just mailing out singles....could you just throw a stamp on that 6x10 and mail it out via usps? or if you use 6x10's do you have to formally ship them? i called the post office and they're telling me it would cost 12 bucks to ship something this small. insane! Thanks for the video!!!
No you can’t put a stamp on a 6x10 it’s too big. The way I showed it in the video, and using pirateship.com and printing your own label, you can usually ship anything up to 10 or more cards for around $5 as long as it’s shipping in the US
This is incredibly useful! Would it be sufficient to use two hobby armors to ship booster packs along with the bubble envelope? If not, what else would you use to protect them?
@ perfect! This will be solely for Evolving Skies booster packs. I don’t want to give buyers leverage to request a refund. Next step is figuring out how to price packs and if I should be asking less for the packs but higher shipping or higher asking price + factor the shipping in the price.

Question for you for full transparency: If someone purchases cards from you and you aren't giving it away as a gift, is there a general rule you go buy to ensure you aren't losing money with the supplies when you charge for shipping? Then you factor in cost if it's paid through PP, etc? I hope this question makes sense - I want to make sure I am not overcharging someone or losing money by not factoring in the supplies correctly. Hey my guy great video! One big question as a new seller. Tracking if needed. Is pirate ship cheaper then a PWE with tracking through USPS! Usually less then 5 cards but pricey. Thanks for info.
If you’re sending tracking, don’t use a pwe. Use the method I showed, and the shipping should be about $4ish depending on location and will come with tracking and will be better protected for shipment. Typically if I’m sending pwe, it’s cheap items that don’t need tracking.
