I'm glad you opened a sealed box. I just bought a pair from an import store today that were a little more expensive than TCGP prices, but cheaper than Collector's Cache. Good to know that as long as the seals are intact, they should be fine!
seals dont mean much nowadays they have been spoofed best to just buy from trusted vendors/stores

The good thing with Wish is that they wanna keep their reputation. So if you request a refund because you got fake cards they’ll almost always give you a full refund (including shipping)

On that note: Racketeering is meant to be illegal but they don’t prosecute it. Plane tickets double when it’s school holidays. Where does “Supply and demand” end and scamming begin? If someone’s willing to pay it…….

I've noticed some people list on ebay/wish/amazon so they can cover places that may not get one or more of those sites. Like there's US Amazon and EU Amazon, more I'm sure. So you list on Amazon to sell in the states if you're american and wish to get the Asian market, possibly the EU market, and ebay as a catch all. that's probably why you got the set from the American seller on wish that was in an ebay bag. they put it on wish to market the product outside the US, but were probably also a big ebay lister. just my experience anyway.
Thanks for taking the hit and reminding us way we need to be careful where we buy cards.
I have a binder-behavior question: I recently gotten a D-ring binder after winning some Pokemon cards. They were already in sleeves, and I put them in the card pages bought that were bought separately. I am also storing them in my room where the air conditioning is on - with the binding standing up. Is that good enough to store my Pokemon cards, or is there things I need to change?
Love this Pat! We had a kid come in the other day hoping to sell his Pokémon cards and was pretty excited. I was the one that had to break the bad news to him and his dad that the cars were all mostly fake. It’s good to have this content out there so others can learn from it.

I saw some obvious fake cards on Mercari and they were charging pretty high prices too. I feel like they are banking on people with little to no knowledge of Pokemon who might be buying as a gift or something.
“Even though my wife is taking a nap in the other room”. It’s like his wife doesn’t let him buy or open more cards so he does it while she’s sleeping 😂

Do you use the barcodes at the card where it's printed cause I think you will get items either on the Pokemon games published by the Pokemon Company or items from Pokemon in real life.

As I said I bought something I bought the astral radiance booster box I HAD AMAZING PULLS main hitter was rainbow vstar typlosion
I bought a celebrations pin collection last Christmas for my son and when he opened it on Christmas day all the packs had been opened and put back in the box! That was from amazon also

You are braver then I, I don't trust third party sellers at all at this point got burned too many times off Amazon. Amazon them selves is good but any other person big nope most get resealed
I got a few legit plushes from wish (back when it was cheaper and actually came compared to ebay) and a thing I *always* did was check reviews with pictures. If they didn't habe pictures, I didn't risk it. Always knew what I got, and always made sure I wanted what I saw

I've seen bootleg card boxes using a look-alike seal with Pokéballs... literally at the nearest chinese stores here XD
