- In this video, I will expose the NIRF ranking system and reveal the reality behind it.
On September 29, 2015, big changes were made to improve higher education in India. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) started the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
Students taking admissions on the basis of NIRF ranking.
This framework helps make it easier to choose colleges and encourages institutions to be better. The NIRF ranks colleges and universities across the country based on things like teaching quality, research, graduation rates, inclusivity, and reputation.
But the reality is different...I am asking straight forward question to NIRF.
If your child successfully passes one of the most prestigious and challenging exams in the world, the IIT entrance exam, and gains admission to highly regarded institutes like IIT BHU, IIT ISM Dhanbad, or IIT Mandi, would you allow them to choose an IIT over VIT or Chandigarh University?
According to the NIRF ranking, VIT, LPU, and Chandigarh University are ranked higher than some IITs.

NIRF 2023 University ranking be like:-
1. IISc Bangalore with 83.16 score
and other ones with score less than or equal to 68.92

always look for NIRF data in the ranking, check the median package in that data
People shouldn’t only stay focused on package cause there are so many times when a bright student can get a package of 50L on his own merit form off campus but college will take all the credits and add it in the avg college placement calculator. However median package is a good idea, but more than package as I said at the end of the video, make a list of certain parameters and based on that short list 10 colleges and decide

@@milindpankaj9480 I prefer chemical engineering because its cutoff is relatively lower than ece, cse etc. The curriculum is also relatively easier , hence chemical branch students have a relatively good amount of free time to enjoy, roam around the campus, take part in college activities and most importantly they have a lot of time to learn coding and other skill which can easily give you 20-22 lpa job. If I am wrong anywhere then correct me please
