- Ruby Life Pools is a new Dragonflight Dungeon that is part of the first season of Mythic Plus in Dragonflight. This Ruby Life Pools guide will highlight the tank, healer and DPS mechanics of the bosses to help you confidently tackle this new Dragonflight dungeon. Because Ruby Life Pools is a three boss dungeon, I have a suspicion that it's going to be the most popular option.
The first Ruby Life Pools boss is Melidrussa Chillworn. Run Chillstorms out, avoid touching Hailbombs, and then DPS off her shield and interrupt her Frost Overload. Also, cleave down Whelp adds quickly and dispel off any high stacks of Primal Chill.
The second boss is Kokia Blazehoof, and the key is to bait the add to the side by having ranged stand there, then kill it quickly and get out before it explodes at the end. Sidestep the Molten Boulder and you'll be fine.
The third fight is a dragonriding duo, Kyrakka and Erkhart Stormvein. Run puddles to the edge, don't get kicked by Interrupting Cloudburst, healers dispel the Stormslam debuff off the tank right away and watch out for the frontal cone from the dragon. It sounds easy until everything goes wrong!

slight correction on the first boss. frigid shard is now frost damage, not physical. the only thing that applies the primal chill debuff is the whelps cast. it used to be everything earlier in the beta but now it's just the whelps. also it looks like her frontal cone ability has been removed.

This dungeon was a nightmare when it came out in the beta, we wiped so many times, the cow boss randomly turned and did the meteor one shooting melee.
I noticed there were high quality captions Available on this video guessing you paid someone to do them or did them yourself. I just wanted to say thanks! They're a great help for accessibility and I'd love to see them on more of your videos 🙂
I am coming back to tanking after doing it last in Legion. Heroics have been a pushover, so I’m interested to see what Mythics bring. Going to take them one at a time and watch your guides!

I want to get into tanking, I'm just scared of toxic players as I main a hunter.
That is exactly what puts me off too. Everyone expects you to know the dungeon inside & out on your first dungeon as a tank, then if you get anything wrong you get a “taaaank!” In the party chat. No one thinks that a tank needs to learn too
@@paulphillips5847 the only advice I could offer is to do it with your friends, preferably irl friends. That way, you won't have to worry too much about getting yelled it.
