I was hoping to at least hear about what happened to sindri after ragnarok. I know the dwarves suffered the most from this. But I'm still more afraid of what he is doing now.
Probably planning on resurrecting Zeus and absorbing his power...
I’m worried about him too.
Very far fetched theory, but maybe he went to another mythlogy like the Egypt to revive Brok again
I have a feeling there will be more DLC.
He went to the Super Sisters of Fate
The fact that Durlin was fully prepared to die for the cause is worth praise. He had not planned to survive the first rebellion, and is certainly not planning to survive the second one. The fact that he did was a welcome surprise for all, because now he can help lead the realms.
Durlin: this is goat milk.
Kratos: it is brown.
Durlin: it was an ugly goat.
This still makes me laugh
makes me laugh every time.
The back and forth was paced so well. His answers were even better. Well written, well acted bit. Nice.
Best lines in the game 😂😂
I believe him, i think...
I didn't put it together the first time but the reason twice by the Dwarves it was assumed that Kratos killed Fey(why he has her axe) was because the Dwarves remembered he as the ferocious warrior.
technically he knew he was leading them into a trap when he gave them "tyr's" location, no wonder he doesn't feel worthy of joining the council.
Did Durlin even know that "Tyr" was actually Odin?
@@LemonLime36Not sure that mattered. Durlin was basically Odin’s contact with Svartalfheim so he’s likely become familiar with Odin’s ways. He knew that nothing good would come from digging through the mine regardless of what came next.
@@tim.noonan Exactly, Odin wouldn't be confident enough to reveal his entire plan to him, including the part where he disguises himself as Tyr. He would only ask him to give a specific location, according to the incorrect guesses that the protagonists had under threat of death, as Durlin says when we return from forging the spear.
@@LemonLime36 Well... in itself, Tyr was NEVER in Svartalheim, that is something that Kratos, Atreus and Mimir incorrectly deduced, the real one was always in Asgard's prison, and that was something Odin took advantage of, to infiltrate. And this makes more sense the further along Kratos tells Atreus that Odin "seemed" to know that he and Durlin knew each other, so in that sense, he also knew that Durlin was just pretending that he didn't know Atreus when we met him again, when we are playing as Atreus, perhaps also on his orders so that Atreus would not suspect anything, what's more, if you stay by his side for a while he just says "be smart boy."
@@martinc8965 I think he if stays even longer, Durlin queitly says "Do me a favour. Piss off!" or something like that.
Even in the DLC this game was nothing but Ls for the dwarves.
The Huldra Brothers are no more, their livelyhoods were left in shambles, their reputation likely took a hit since the only "help" they provided at ragnarok was Sindri, whose contribution was largely removing the siege weapons made by the dwarves. (sure they were forced, but it's unclear how aware of the situation the other realms are)
The short people pulled the short stick
It's like that whale in the game that Mimir imprisoned. When you are oppressed long enough, you grow accustomed to it. Even when the chains are removed, you still feel it on you. It is the same with the dwarves. Now that the foot is off their backs, they don't know how to move on as they were so used to it.
@@spinmaster0wasn’t it a giant whale?
@@puppetmaster8551 Yes, whale. I will correct it. The turtle was Freya's house, wasn't it?
@@spinmaster0 yup, freya had the cool turtle house. That whole whale thing was sad tho and you could tell how awful mimir felt about it.
The reality of war "One side gains as theother side loses, and those in the middle pay the price." The dwarves really did get the short sick ( pun not intended ) out of all the realms.
short stick*
SHORT!?
There will be no alliance
@gamejunky3040 oohh is that from tariff warhammer? Such a good meme
Odin-listen up it's me your entire economy speaking
@TheRealDrSick they said in Valhalla the dwarves are struggling
Hearing Kratos say _"Thank You,"_ is kinda unhinged.
bro come on. Kratos isn't an unfeeling monster, even in the old god of war games he shows kindness, mostly towards women and children...
scratch that mostly towards children...
well we can say he hasn't shown aggression rowards people underserv...
😅
Best thing for Kratos and the others to do is offer help when they need it, and not interfere like Odin did.
3:20 the sass
Question: Why haven’t they changed the realm’s name to Niðavellir yet? You know, since it’s what the Dwarves originally named their realm?? 🤨
out of habit I suppose, the same thing happened to Atreus, and he respects dwarves.
Mimir could start using that name any time he wanted to. It's kind of like outsiders saying Japan instead of Nihon or Nippon. It's the outsiders that need to change.
@@Silmerano but still some formal changes need to be made, like for example the dwarves making an announcement that they're officially calling the land as Nidavellir and would like everyone else to address it as such
I still can't get over how Durlin has a South African Afrikaaner accent xD
-Our little friend here has _much_ to live for!
-...Arguable
you know who woulda been really useful to help deal with this whole mess?
Brok and Sindri.
As it is, all we're left with is either Durlin or Lunda. Neither exactly in a great position to lead anybody anywhere. Give Lunda enough time she might surprise, but the Dwarves are screwed in the short term, and will need a lot of help to get their feet back under them
Lunda is a no slouch in the forge. She was Brok's student after all. 🙂
I wonder what happened to the Light Elves after Frey died
That’s it really the video I made :)
They were forced to allow Black Elves into their public transport
There was a bit of dailouge from sigrun that said Byggvir and Beyla were slow getting both sides together, and they would reveal what knoledge was found in the library after they managed unite the the realm. I think they also talked about how they handled freyr death aswell.
@@Ghaltounithat isn’t funny 😒
@@Ghaltouni 💀💀💀
I wished we had heard of how sindri is doing. I felt bad about how things were left at the end of ragnarok.
Durlin: This is goats milk
Kratos: It is brown
Durlin: it was an ugly goat
I don't know why the first exchange reminds me so much in pacing of TFS's writing. So funny
0:16 the goat milk bit made laugh
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dinner has always been my favorite
Fun fact:
Dwarf mother drink a lot during pregnacy, meaning when he was born he was drunk out his ass.
Where did you find that out? Or was that meant to be a joke?
@@IanPendleton-gh6ox is far I can recall was in both both fornaldarsögur and riddarasögur.
I think theres more in the german myths but I dont remember the names of those myths.
Bro got the most soothing intro on RUclips
'Durlin 'it's goats milk''
'Kratos 'it is brown''
Durlin ''it was an ugly goat''
lol!
