I introduced my now 13 year old daughter to Breakfast at Tiffany's one rainy Sunday about 6 years ago. Since that day, like the character, she just loves Tiffany's. She has every Audrey Hepburn movie I could buy. She has been Audrey for Halloween (huge hit among a sea of Harley Quinns). She has a few pieces from Tiffany and wears their perfume. Eating at the Blue Box Cafe is number 1 on her bucket list. If covid doesn't destroy the world, I'll be taking her for her 16th birthday.

Robin egg blue is what the Tiffany blue is based off of but the color “Tiffany blue” is actually a patented Shade of blue that cannot be used without their consent. (I know because I tried painting my room Tiffany’s and the company told me I wasn’t allowed because it was patented)

Hi Robin, I LOVE Tiffany’s! I was curious to know if this isn’t too personal how much was your dining experience? Did you find it overpriced or expected because it is Tiffany’s? I am asking because I would like to plan a girls trip to NY and add this on our to do list, but, I have some girlfriends who budget for everything and I understand, so I try to be mindful of those particular friends. Which can be frustrating at times trust me! I like to give the information so they can make an informed decision on whether a girls trip is in their budgets. Please note, before any one comes for me, I have nothing against ppl budgeting. I take issue with the ones who ask for prices no matter where we go (e.g. Friday’s, Olive Garden, Another Broken Egg etc..) to the point it is embarrassing and I do not want to invite them out. I see it more of a money management issue. I offered to help place them on a budget because I am very good with managing money, that was not taken well, so now I tell them where we are planning to dine and for them to go look at their menu in advance to see if this fits their budgets. I apologize for the dissertation 🙃😊
