- We decided to visit the former Versace Mansion on Miami Beach (Ocean Drive) and grab some lunch at the restaurant inside called "Gianni's at the Villa". They have a great and affordable deal for lunch that is $29 for a three-course meal, including appetizer, entree, and dessert.
For the appetizer we had the "flash fried shrimp" and the "burrata" from the lunch menu and both we excellent. For our entrees we chose the "Chicken Scallopini" and the "Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli" and they were both great delicious choices! For dessert we tried the mango sorbet and the chef's special which was a brownie. Overall, from the food to the service to the atmosphere was an incredible experience and definitely worth checking out if you are in the Miami Beach area!

I had lunch here to beautifully amazing place.
I’ve had the privilege of staying at the Versace mansion twice and it is breathtaking. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, so regal and elegant. I stayed in the Villa suite which was Gianna’s actual bedroom and the Medallion Suite which was designed for Gianna’s good friend Elton John. Also you are correct about the pool, it is only open to the guests staying there.
Wow! This place is absolutely stunning!! The pricing really is pretty reasonable for a 3-course meal! And everything looked yummy! Really interesting to see, and lunch seemed like a beautiful time to visit to be able to see everything during the day. Maybe one day they will comp you guys a night!! I bet it’s a beautiful spot to stay, but sounds expensive!! Thanks for sharing this beautiful spot!

Beautiful! Gianni is still there, his outlook on fabulousness! It was before what it is again now and anyone who goes there should be appreciative of it. But if not that is okay too because we can all see what we want to see or cannot see or don't want to see.

I’m taking a girls trip to Miami in March and we considered adding this to the roster.
I just texted my friend and told her to add it to the itinerary lol. I’ve gotta get the other girls on board but hopefully it’s a go! They like to take pictures so maybe I’ll persuade them that way lol.

This place looks so gorgeous! 29.00 is a great price for a lunch prixe fix menu at a mansion! All the food looks good too! Haha, I thought it must be mango 😂! Love the music you chose! It would definitely be a nice staycation to stay in one of those rooms! When you talk about the pool- is that the pool that your table was overlooking? Were people swimming there while you ate?
How long would you say lunch takes? Hoping to squeeze it in before a cruise end of this month!

Amazing architecture and decor in the restaurant. Sounds like lunch is the way to go when eating there. Glad it turned out to be enjoyable for you two. The rates for this weekend are $1000 per night there. Hope you do get the whole bottle of oil if you stay there. 😆Cheers! ~ Kevin

Hi there! We parked at a parking garage right around the corner but we wouldn't be able to say the exact name but somewhere by 8th street and Ocean CT (close to ocean drive) but when it comes to Miami Beach in general..parking can be annoying and you either have to uber from your hotel where you are staying or drive around for a while looking for parking :/
Can you tour the mansion if you’re only there to eat or do you literally have to rent a room there?
Great video! Did the restaurant staff have problems or gripes with you all filming and esp at the fountain area? I read a review a couple years ago that said they didn’t like it.

@@volcomoverall So we went there already at lunch time (yes dinner seems more formal), we called before just in case and they told us casual elegant but no sneakers or swimwear or flip-flops... I wore some nice high heel sandals and it was actually way better than many people there. There were people in tshirts, shorts, flip flops and also pretty elegant people.... so... 🤷🏻♀️... food, I was very disappointed (fixed menu of course) but enjoyed the place (the pool! We were sitting right in front of it) and basically we end up paying $100 and change because a 20%tip is included. So I feel like we paid a $50 ticket to see the mansion. Oh well! An experience.. but never going back.!

I'm surprised the sorbet was so plain. Fancy restaurants usually will add a sprig of mint leaf or something for aesthetics.

I have lived in Miami almost my entire life. The Versace mansion is gorgeous but be careful on Ocean Drive! It’s become super dangerous and ghetto. Especially at night and on Memorial weekend.
