He was right the two events are connected. Though no lice there were other microorganisms and since he was a bookworm he wasn't carrying much muscle so his body didn't have enough defenses and when he came in contact with the pink eye causer his body couldn't find it off.
However the pink eye came 8 months after he had to use the school’s safety goggles. That’s more than enough time for his body to fight off any potential contagion that may or may not have existed on that eyewear. Also it is unknown how long it was since that particular pair that he had used was touched by another person’s face, so it could have been minutes or days since that pair of safety goggles saw any use. Not only that, I’m sure a person like Sheldon would have thoroughly washed and disinfected the eyewear prior to donning them. That is assuming he could reach the sink and soap at that height. If anything, it’s his aversion to anything of dirt, grime, or germs that weakened his immune system that didn’t give it the practice it needs to fight off infections. That is a much more reasonable conclusion rather than deficient muscle mass causing a pink eye. Sheldon is known to be paranoid when it comes to disease and infection, and this narration is no exception.
Sheldenis is important to everyone in the world of God and Texas, he believes in Jesus' name and his special talents to be included in the world of life
Bro the "nothing's more important than protection" part SENT me 💀💀
"Nothing's more important than protection!" I love the reaction that poor pregnant girl gives to Sheldon's innocently unrelated statement! 😂
“Nothing is more important than protection” 😂
"Forgiving people sucks." I'm with Dale on this one, but at least he did forgive Georgie, albeit grudgingly.
That s why I watch this show, random jokes that crank me up for 10 minutes straight
As funny as this scene is, the convo btw George and Sheldon shows how crucial he was in life. The mother would have caved and drove home.
This series is just awesome , at first it seems ok as a "Young Sheldon" but later it turns to "Young Gorgie" 😂😂❤️
This episode had me cackling lol
