Sheldon remembers all of the unnecessary stuff that happens to him but when put to the test he forget the most important things he has ever experienced.
I felt that! When you have an idea on your head or dreams and then you forget it... it sucks when you can't remember anything! Feels like going back to square one and starting over. Like the progress you made is lost! Funny how you can relate to something not as accurate as your situation!
That happens to me all the time. Sometimes I can remember individuals or events from dreams, but usually all I can remember is that I had a dream. I often characterize dreams as the "playground" of the mind. It's your brain tossing all your thoughts up in the air to see where they land.
Funny part being that his answer only made sense when he was intoxicated, and thus he was unable to self check. Quite a few dream ideas make sense only in the dream state! Odd fact about dreaming. You can't read in a dream. You can decode single words like stop, or on or off, but you can't put together words in an order that compute. You get a jumble of words, not a linear progression that makes a sentence. dreams are random series of events that somehow hold together. Only when you're awake and write it down before you forget do you realize just how little a dream makes any sense.
@@lachlanross1 His answer in the dream was: you had to consider gravity not as a force, but a resultant action of the curvature of space by the presence of mass. which is the current theory.
@@chriscompton3228 when do we find out that? I tjought shrldon took some sort of tea and talked to his Einstein poster who told him that he should find out for himself rather than be told off the god
@@lachlanross1 the physics part of the dream i just listened to what was said. don't take a TV show too seriously about cutting edge physics. the idea that gravity is not a force but an emergent phenomena of the curving of space wasn't new when the show was made, but was long before when the show is supposed to be taking place. About 20 years ago his idea would have been revolutionary. Now it is considered obvious truth. Like Black holes, neutron stars, and wormholes were science fiction in the 70s, but fact now.
He's actually right. A unified field theory IS the "holy grail" of science -- or of physics, anyway. We're still struggling to find that one, though I suspect it's going to take a fundamental break from current mathematical paradigms (kind of like Einstein did with Relativity).
That was discovered by Einstein's General Relativity in the early 20th century , The thing with unifying gravity is that : Its quanta (smallest particle of that kind) is merely impossible to describe as its not very accessible to the macroscopic human being , hence its very tough such that Einstein's GR and Quantum mechanics are tough to unify. The Universe (for now) is quantum mechanical and GR is the most accurate description of gravity we have , hence we can see the point in unifying it :D
This is something that actually happens. You can use dreams to solve problems among other things. Many inventions come from dreams like the sewing needle, google and the periodic table. Many inventions from dreams revolutionized the world we live in

Here’s the answer to solving a unified field theory: Develop a single, comprehensive theory that would mathematically describe all four forces (gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear force, and weak nuclear force) as different aspects of a single, unified force!
what who gets that kind of drugs when at the dentist. i have gotten 17 teeth ribbed out by the dentists, because of a disease. but i have never gotten sleep drugs only mild painkillers. first i thought it was of the fact that the show is in the
He said “drugs please” with a quickness💀
130 likes and no comments? I smell lots of bullshit. Lemme change that
(How does this comment have many likes wil forever remain, a mystery)

Keep a dream journal. It's way more useful than you think and will help allot

“And you forgot it. That’s funny…”
This must have been Sheldon regular dentist 😂. He assisted Mary come in the room

You'd be surprised how many world changing inventions come from dreams

Watching Young Sheldon right now 👍🏻
Sheldon was told that to unify gravity is to understand that is is a distortion of space and time.
Fascinated!
I am so relieved 😅 I’m
Nah, that's just General Relativity. For Sheldon, it's the equivalent of "you first need to remember that 1+1=2"

Isn't that the same doctor that Charlie went to in Two and a Half Men? The kids dr. In Cleveland

not gonna lie he is pretty brave to just have the tooth pulled even if he went back on it
Herb!
