Paige had the perfect balance of being a genius and very social person.
Pity that she wasn't allowed to be social later. This may have led to her becoming Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton, though that connection has yet to be revealed.

I love that Paige doesn't let Sheldon control her and she even beats him at stuff he cares about.
Paige is as poorly adjusted as he is. She just presents more "normal" so people don't see it. Also, letting certain people win to avoid a confrontation is actually a mark of high EQ, which neither of them has.

Paige was partly right. Sheldon did grow up to be a bit of a social misfit and weirdo but man, he got pretty lucky! I don't really know anyone who has the same 5+ good friends as adults. Most people i know have like 300-1,000 social media friends but only have like 2 or 3 good friends irl and maybe 1 super close friend after 25.
Wow, no one points this out but this is really what we all are. A bunch of social media friends we post for but if we lucky, only 1-2 people we actually consider friends. 99% of our relationships are fake😂

Sure they would both be adults, but the thing about My little pony friendship is magic is that is not just for kids, there are adults to this day who still see it and love it. Funny you should say that, she played in a movie named gifted when she was a little younger and her mom killed herself because she was a genius but lonely and her uncle who raised her tried to save her from the same fate
What's interesting to me is both Paige and Sheldon have their families disintegrate. Paige is on paper far better suited to handle this being more generally self sufficient, smarter, and most notably far more emotionally intelligent. However we know she drops out of college, and it seems increasingly unlikely she recovers from her familial colapse being a teen alcohol abuser attempting to have risky intercourse with older boys. Meanwhile the same problems that Sheldon seems to have will allow him to effectively survive the trauma by regressing to his more self centered isolated state. Though without Leonard, and eventually the others he likely would have been also relegated to "just" a Senior theoretical particle physicist at a major university for physics... Actually still impressive on its own, but below his potential.
Outside the comedy side this show is really attempting to show how important family is for success, more than financially, for the human value.
