- Sheldon is able to overcome his fear of dogs and pats the Sparks’ new dog on the head, but while Meemaw and Mary are apologizing to the Sparks’ mom, Sheldon runs into the house terrified that the dog licked his face. Sheldon’s family wonders why the dog is so drawn to Sheldon and we find out that dog’s old owner uses the same hair gel, Brylcreem, as Sheldon. Meemaw buys Sheldon a fish to help him get over his pet phobia and Sheldon names him Fish.

@@djfhsusbruh6698 It seems like the implication, with the dog seeking Sheldon out because he’s scenting the same product in his hair that his owner uses, and we can see from the photo in the owner’s cell that he doted on his dog before he was locked away. I suppose it’s all just put out there in clues though, so you are definitely free to interpret it in another way.
@@dayschange2man idk why it's even up for interpretation to other people. That's literally what's shown in those scenes (the dogs original owner in prison putting on a hair product similar to sheldon) 😅 it doesnt need a dialogue.

It looked like she got him a betta fish, they do bite.
Not to ruin the funny scene but just so you know betas don't go in a fishbowl. They prefer a tank of 2.5 gallons to 5 gallons.
They also prefer a filter with low flow if any at all and they like a heater depending on where you live.
I live in Taiwan so we rarely need to use heaters for betas.
i know right i take care of fish for a living mostly guppies but i have 1 beta

I didn't look up your statement, I just assume it's true - nevertheless, many years ago not many people knew a lot about keeping pets the right way and I remember that many thought a fish doesn't need more than that little glass. So I think for representation of that time, it's alright in that series

That's bullshit, dogs lick their own ass and their own genitals.
Dogs also eat fox poop sometimes and they lick trash they find on the floor. So they are quite stupid and their tongue has so much bad bacteria on it that it is disgusting.

How can you hate dogs. I got attacked by a dog and chewed up as a kid and I still love dogs so much. I cried when I heard that the owner of the dog that attacked me killed it with a shot gun. He didn't treat that dog right. Left it chained up outside all day never got love. We were playing tag and the kid was chasing me when I ran by the dog it got me. I don't blame it maybe he thought I was a bad guy. Idk I still don't trust Rottweilers bit I will hug and pet the ones I see because they are still dogs lol.
