Sometimes someone is so academically smart they loop right back around to being dumb. This is shown perfectly in the episode where the twins are tested with different types of intelligence.
If I had talked to my dad like Georgie did I would've skipped a whole week of classes, football and conciousness. He would've knocked my ass into the next week. He wasn't abusive, he just didn't take no lip. He was respected by everyone who knew him. My friends used to come to him for advice all the time.
@@christopherbingham5092Was Georgie right? Yes. Is his father wrong to whup his a**? Also yes. If you call spanking “child abuse” than that’s simply wrong. Children are wrong all the time, and when they don’t listen or follow rules, should be punished. How is punishment child abuse?
Georgie was right. His dad only cares about him when it's to yell at him or when it's about football and Georgie doesn't even like football but his dad tries to force it on him for purely selfish reasons. George Sr is a big part of why his relationship with Georgie is so dysfunctional because he belittles him and doesn't give him credit for the good things he does. Georgie often calls himself dumb and a failure because his parents tell him that he has been one since he was little, the way he reacts now is clearly in rebellion at the way he is being treated.
George & Georgie are exactly the opposite of my dad and I. I wanted to play sports, and while my mom talked my dad into paying the fees, he'd have preferred that I learn to work as he did.
To me, Wayne was really annoying... He never sided with George and was such a simp to his wife. It was a sweet karma when she cheated on him and left his ass lol
My philosophy teacher was southern baptist. It was hilarious watching him try to argue why abortion is wrong while all the girls in the class understood its their body their right....he had some very conflicting ideas when it came to things like theft and property
I love Melanie Lynskey, she has such a perfect American accent, that you'd never guess that she was really from New Zealand!
Who is that?

Although Sheldon is so smart, he is really easy to be manipulated.
He's still just a kid.
He's a aspie even if they don't want to say he is.
Social skills tend to lack in some smart people.
They find it tiring and useless.
He is just a kid

Rose being a philosophy teacher is ironic.
She's also a major antagonist in the TV version if "The Last of Us". Melanie is a very versatile actress.
@@dordonake You mean Marlene? I've never seen the show, only played the game...

People like that take ' respect ' for granted.
Shut up. It's a joke he wouldn't actually do it, some parents just say those things to scare their kids.
If Georgie is eating well and sleeping well, he should be able to honor his commitments with his football team and his job at Dale's store!
What a great show! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, rose really _did_ have that degree xD

Maybe you just THINK you love philosophy. . .
1:37 Can we at least see some numbers representing this wavelength equation?
Velociraptors are super fast!
Anyway, velocity is represented by the Latin letter "v".
2:38 lol
It’s Rose from Two and a Half Men.
Yes so she can make love to Charlie and stocking him and his brother Alan
Yes! I recognized her immediately, despite rarely watching "Two and a Half Men"!
I liked her a lot better as Rose!
She's also Shauna in Yellowjackets, and Kathleen in The Last of Us.
Good show

You’re mad cause he didn’t mindlessly agree with his best friend and loved his wife???
Theyre learning about De Broglie's hypothesis in college?
