The "life time warranty and free parts mentioned in this video appear to only be available if the faucet was sold after 2019. The video is very good. I would suggest that it will be easier to put the handle back on when finished if you partially screw in the allen screw.

Only comment is Delta told me the cartridge is now considered a wear and tear item and they only sent me a replacement for "goodwill". My local ripoff plumber wanted $580.00 to change the cartridge!!! Ridiculous!

Great Video! The bonnet cover was frozen in place. Added WD-40 around and inside, let it rest for a few minutes, hit the bonnet with the wrench and it loosened it up.

We had been dealing with what I called a "trick faucet" for probably over a year now. I finally decided to look up the fix, and had it taken care of within 5 minutes after we got the replacement cartridge and channel lock pliers. I only wish I had gotten fed up sooner. Thank you for your simple and straight to the point video!

Thanks for the detailed video. Iam having trouble removing the plastic cap, after removing the handle. Used channel locks with cloth / electric tape to grip. It still stripped the plastic cap but it is not loosenings😮
The music kinda had me imagining that this is what it would look and sound like if Quentin Tarantino was fixing his kitchen faucet and I find that irrationally hilarious, and that is wonderful! My faucet has been driving me nuts for like three weeks now and I keep telling myself that I have to go in the basement and look at the box to see what model it is and I finally did it just now, typed "Delta Leland faucet leaking" and your video came up first! Excellent! Dr. Google didn't let me down! For three weeks I would shut the faucet off and go wipe the counter or something and out of the corner of my eye I can see it drip! Ugh! I need to add my voice to those who appreciate the info - and brevity of this video (extra points for listing the part number for this faucet and cartridge replacement.) I followed your instructions and it only got a little tricky repositioning the faucet handle and screwing it into place (the allen wrench was too long to easily manuver.) But - got it done and voila! Not drip! I too have subscribed.
I bought and installed this Savile model because I thought the faucet could be installed with the handle in any location. It seems to be a good operation. The powerblast spray feature is useless. I would prefer a softer "flood" spray instead, as the option. What I want is a sink faucet I can place the handle in the middle, instead of the right or left side. I have a double sink. I'd prefer the handle in the middle, over the middle divider of the sink.
I had to drill out the Allen screw as it was frozen. Delta sent me a new handle and screw and screw cover. The bonnet cover got messed up because it was also frozen in place, so I had to get another one. Then the brass bonnet that holds the cartridge in place is frozen solid. Delta will send me a new one . In the mean time I'm going to have to get creative to remove the old bonnet. Wish me luck! PS Delta Faucet Company has been really helpful and generous with parts.

Maybe try spraying underneath it (as much as you can get to it) with some Wd-40 or a silicone spray to get it loosened up?
