@@shinomakichuppy8236 true but one thing I always hated about far cry 3 and 4 was how the FOV turned back to the standard value once you did takedowns or drove a car. Not sure who thought that was a good idea.
Well… did you play it again recently ? It didn’t age well. To be honest.
This is still a sympatic game with some great ideas and great music, but the map, the environment and even the scenario didn’t age well. But a remake could be amazing ! (Rework a bit the story to make it more consistent, put much better graphics and resize a bit the map and you have an excellent game)
i dont know why nobody ever talks about the gameplay of far cry 3. i think its perfect and really gets your heart pumping especially in master difficulty. its fun and challenging, but mostly fun.
But there isn't Carma events like in Far Cry 4 and Hoyt's islands is veery bad because of 4 quests. Minus of far cry 2 if we will compare it with another far cry parts -only one thing you can do with animals is kill and there isn't stealth because of smart NPC which can see you at night.

I love how far cry 3 went for a cartoonish and realistic blend of art style, making it pretty much unable to age. where as cyberpunk will probably look old in about 5 years

Exactly. Graphics will get outdated in a couple of years. What's realistic now, would be regarded as polygons tomorrow. The gameplay will However should hold up the test of time.
GTA 3, VC, SA etc are visually outdated but gameplay is still solid. So people still play them.

Far Cry 2 was the most advanced physics, destruction, combustion, with a very clever AI. Most modern games are not even close in technical terms. But the game was a failure due to other aspects.

Far cry 2 actually has better mechanics than 3 in some ways (like fire propagation) but they made the gameplay in 2 so realistic that it stops being fun pretty fast.
Now playing FC2 ..and its easy difficulty still feels above death match in many games.
Yeah i bought it for the ps3 and it really surprised me how your companions can just permadeath, guns rust away and break and jam with time. Your health and ammo is almost non existing, the map while one of the most realistic is tediously realistic. Is an amazing game but is an example of realism taking away the fun

do you even have idea of the amount of work dedicated to the artistic concepts in cyberpunk 2077? stop comparing two games only by secondary features... i played fc3 and i enjoyed it alot, but cyberpunk dedicated a ton of time to the artistic part of the game and not to these secondary things that are shown in the video

i dont think cyberpunk was meant to be a cash grab, the scope of the game just got to big and they delayed it like 5 or more times and we all just got to hyped and were let down. were there a fuck ton of bugs? yes and the studio should be blamed for their short comings but i think CD had the best intentions and just couldnt hack it
@@shurimanpirlo I didn't buy cyberpunk to see some cool art, if I wanted to do that I'd go to a gallery. Maybe they shouldn't have wasted all the time they had on drawing concept art and instead, actually release a fully fleshed out game that doesn't have a ton of missing features.

Ubisoft when releasing Farcry 3 actually delayed the game for few months to polish it and look it now how neat it came out but then on the other hand there is cyberpunk that was delayed so many times but still didn't came out a complete.
You should have compared it with far cry 2 thats even older,FC3 was a big step back in terms of details compared to that game.

To be fair to cyberpunk, it need more time but due yo how much it had already been delayed, if they delayed it again people would start to give up on it and they'd also start losing money, it wasn't exactly due to bad creators rather one big unfortunate situation

Yeah sure what you see in videos and stuff is mostly true but slot of what you see in videos is just the negative shit, it's still a decent game, they're focusing on fixing it and also inside Farcry which was made by a multi million, maybe even billion dollar company (ubisoft), cyberpunk was made by rather unknown company, only really being known for the witcher games, never judge a game by the state it was released in, always revisit a game and then decide if its good or not, fallout 76 was god awful at release but now it's mostly bug free, has a decent story and in my opinion is more difficult than any of the other fallout games (excluding obviously the hardest difficulties of said games) cyberpunk for the most part is bug free rn, they're releasing another patch update soon and gave already said that they are going to be releasing more content dlc and slot for it
