It looks like Hammock Gear has changed the designation of some of their quilts. They have come out with a new line called Burrow UL, with 950 fill power down and 7D fabric. They have combine the economy and premium Burrow into one product that is now called Burrow CL. It still comes with the 850 fill power down and the only difference is that you can now chose between 10D and 20D fabric. 20D being what the econ line would have used.
Hammock Gear quilts are great all the way round. Very warm and comfortable. I like how you can add extra down from 1 to 4 oz which helps mitigate down migration. They do this for both the top and under quilts. Great video Derek!
I don't have much experience with other brand quilts. Quilts are definitely a high dollar peice of gear so I found something that worked and stuck with it haha. I have my 20 econ set and a 40 premium set. They are both still going strong. They could probably use a wash but I have been hesitant to try that.
It's working out great. They do sales often. I picked up a custom economy burrow. Short, wide, stitched toe box, 2 oz overfill. I like their down hood for colder temps.
I have noticed it seems like they are running sales constantly now. It wasn't like that a couple years ago. Which is good though because quilt prices have really gone up, just like everything else.
This is the dutchware netless hammock with dual knotty mod. It is 11 ft in the hexon 1.2 fabric. It's not a wide hammock. My main Darien I take on 3 season trios is a wide and I have tons of room in it lol. This one doesn't have as much room but I can still sleep in it comfortably. I like netless in the winter because I like to be able to look out easily and make sure my quilts are where they need to be haha

Hammock gear is awesome! I have a top quilt from them. Super warm.
Hammock gear makes great products all around. I know I can count on their gear.
My problem is I move around too much in my hammock and end up with my quilt on the ground in the middle of the night.
That's hilarious. That can definitely happen, especially in a netless hammock.
I’m curious about that netless hammock. Is that a Dutchware Wide with knotty mods? Is it 11 foot?
