I was able to work from home and just threw it on one of my screens. Then by September 2020 I was caught up on the anime and started reading the manga. Love it now.
I like how it is shown where Helmepo‘s attitude comes from his dad is a jurk and Helmepo is used to copy he’s attitude but with no streght to back it up

You'll find that they tend to save up their quality, having a few lesser quality episodes so that when they have some really important scenes, they'll look good, plus, certain seasons as a whole kind of look better or worse. Some of the more recent stuff is animated absolutely beautifully

Most people either watched all the openings and got spoilers from there, or have seen future fights of Luffy and decided to start watching because of it. Spoilers sometimes do not ruin the experience of the journey. In fact it's thanks to spoilers that some people started watching it in the first place. As long as you're not spoiled as you are going through the series.

I used to fight strangers talking about Naruto is better than One piece (because i never watched it that time) After i watched it 7 years ago it became my fav of all time, even comparing it to Naruto is a disrespect. Corruption, unjust law, slavery, human trafficking, racism etc is far better than Naruto chasing Sasuke for 80% of its content.

One piece isn’t low quality animation, it’s just an anime that’s so long that you tell when technology evolved when. Also the art style is unique. But the story is amazing. Vs an anime like demon slayer which is held up only because of the animation of it.

I watched almost all the popular long anime series and One Piece is my favourite, though I dropped it twice within first 10-15 episodes, once I got to past 20, there was no looking back, I invested almost 2000 - 3000 hours of my life behind this one anime/manga. Just be careful for the spoilers.

Useless facts... Nami was not even supposed to be in the first few episodes but the anime wanted to introduce her as early as possible... so they added her doing random stuff in the manga in every episode before her introduction...
