Wow, your journey through Montana and North Dakota is truly captivating! The way you describe the landscapes and your experiences on the road is both informative and engaging. It's amazing how you stumbled upon Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the unexpected discoveries you've made along the way. The pictures and descriptions of the places you've visited make me feel like I'm right there with you. Looking forward to your next adventure in Minnesota!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely fun to route on the fly with no real prior knowledge of the area. It gave a real feeling of discovery that isn't always there if the trip is planned to the last detail.
Really appreciated your video--I hope to be seeing that park soon. Also, appreciated your travelling narrative--especially calling out place names as you encountered them. Thanks!
Haha Paleontology mob boss.. envisioning it.. getting pelted by grasshoppers, lucky you bash plate was keeping your engine from gunking up.. digging that open space roads Great campsite and over watch plateau at sunset!! Those “canon balls” looked like some giant was bored and throwing them around
It’s a nice park out in the middle of nowhere. I think the southern section of the park gets a lot more traffic. (Next to an interstate) Those open two lane roads aren’t a bad way to cover distance, are they?
There really isn't much aside from lakes and mosquitoes in that part of MN. The good riding is all in the arrowhead and SW parts of the state. Keep these videos coming@ The roads are all icy now and my bikes are hiding. So I need to live vicariously through you.
@@AdventurePiggy what do you mean you don't know all the regions in a state you only visited twice?! It's a lot more rugged that the rest of the state with large woodlands and actual terrain. It also contains the boundary waters which is the best national Forrest (I may be biased)
we happened upon the TRNP last August on our way to Glacier from east coast. Unfortunately it was 105 deg so we didnt do much there. We did drive much of the same route you did. What time of year was this trip?
Fun fact: a lot of places that include “devil” in the name are miss-translated from the Native American term for “spirit.” Loving the videos! Hoping I can get out there this coming summer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Have a great trip to the park! Are you planning to see both north and south units?
I live by the north unit. The grasshoppers were horrific last summer and it was dry, but every day I wake up and have coffee looking at the buttes.
It’s a beautiful area and I’m glad I found it!

I'm glad I got to ride around the SW parts earlier in the trip. As for the arrowhead... I had to look that one up.

Well shit… I clearly picked the wrong route home!

I was there in the end of July 2023. I wish I had another week to go see Glacier and Idaho. 97 was more than hot enough for me.

Thank you for that tidbit! Bad translations strike again!
America really is a big empty country, btw you get a sub fellow biker for the cool memes and sarcastic comments
There certainly is a lot of open space out west. It’s great fun to ride out there :)
