Thanks for watching, Shadow Jammer! The stick will unfortunately not solve any wifi connection or speed issues you have. It is meant to use your wi-fi, so if you already have connectivity issues - this may slow it down even more (although likely not noticeably). My suggestion is to get your wifi issue solved first before you start adding devices that will take from the bandwidth. I hope this helps you! Good luck!

Did 3 different things and not sure what fixed it? Cleaned all old glue and dust off of the roku receiver that sticks to tv with fluid. (2 moved the module up high so it can shoot the signal down my hall,, and been leaving bedroom door wide open. I couldn't believe that the signal couldn't go to other end of apartment. It is old with sturdy Walls 🤷🏻♂️

We need the remote if we use it on another tv right? Not just the stick. Then pair it up again ?
You should not have to re-pair the remote when you plug it into another TV.
I have this exact device, the green light on back of the remote does not turn on. I put in brand new Energizer batteries...still not working.

So I have a Samsung smart TV and all of those apps already on the tv, and I can also install any others that I want. So why would I want a "SEPARATE" streaming device??
Thanks for watching! There are a number of reasons why I use Roku devices on our (already) smart TVs: These are just an easier way to enjoy TV and apps than most TV-branded app stores. The apps automatically update. It takes less processing away from your TV and leaves less chance for error. We've found that the app "store" experience on many large brand TVs is fairly poor - in fact, many TV manufacturers have started inserting the Roku experience on the TV itself. Also, in the case of sticks like this particular one - you can take it with you when you travel outside or inside your home and all of the settings, apps and favorites remain the same.
